This subject is most certainly not worth vehement argument.

Within the last month, I have had perhaps the chance to duel approxamately four times, but in at least one of those entered the Arena too late. However, I have been in my office writing many things to the Council as well as working on a few other dueling related projects. Does my lack of actual dueling make me inactive? I hope not.

Drey, you consider Lucian an inactive Baron because you have not met him. I ask you this... can you tell me he has been inactive in Council matters? I am not meaning to attack you, but I am wondering if you ever thought he might actually be stuck in some stuffy office, doing work for the Council and the Duel of Swords? I think only fourteen people, really, know the answer to that.

Not meant as an attack, but only to make you think;

I speak before I know anything, Gnort? Anyone who has been reading the board for the last 6 months or so knows what I'm talking about.

Over this period, you seem to have grown to hate the Arena more and more, pretty much typified by the quote you usually use when you sign a post, "I hate you." Instead of just leaving the Arena behind you, though, you've continually posted on how this or that makes you sick. You've taken quite a few shots at challengers -you- feel unworthy, and now, when people find Drey's reasoning for challenge flawed, you find fault with them for stating their
opinions.

In my honest opinion, you're a sanctimonious hypocrite. You defend Drey simply because he was in HDT, and now that the majority of people posting their opinions find a former member of HDT's reason for a challenge to be a poor one, you cry about another evil of the Arena. No opinion can compare with that of the Lord of the Arena, an Arena he also hates, eh?

To the idiots in general,
You may now shut up. It's just a challenge...Leave it alone. If he wins, bash him, if he loses, hell with it.

Sartan,

I don't think you understand. I was not defending Drey's challenge. I was stating that due to popularity, a challenger is bashed more so because he is less popular.

Yes, I hate the Arena more and more, why, because people are so easily swayed to bash someone for a challenge. And it wasn't so much my mentioning anything because the bashing done to Drey was rather harsh, harsher than usual. In fact, in recent times (the last year or so) the only ones to be slammed for challenging this harsh had been Meth.

Again, I don't defend his challenge at all. If you want my opinion, even though you failed to ask it, I would have tried to talk Drey out of this because I like Lucian. What I do protest is the fact that certain peoples are harshly bashing someone for simply challenging. And that is why I dislike being around anymore. Because I've had my fill.

Call me what you wish, Sartan, it doesn't matter to me. I know where I stand.

You posed insult to him, Drey; you insulted his intelligence. He reacted in a most courteous fashion for the given situation; you've decided to measure out his worth based upon flimsy facts, therefore, the challenge has lost its care-free manner in which you wished it to be. If you simply pulled his name out of a hat and chose to challenge him without just reason, just come out and say that, but to attempt to make up a
reason which is full of flaws should be unacceptable to the baron, and he should defend his ring he worked for with fire in his belly, and is allowed to share some of that flame with you upon the cork. You dished it out, all that's left to do is suck it up and duel, and stop feeding the flames..

Good luck to ya both.

Well wishes,
Coron.

Patrons~

I believe this one has gone beyond the realm of words. All we can do now is watch and wait.

Lucian and Drey~

May you both duel with skill, honor and a bit of humility. May the best man win.

<< This is meant to be in no way offensive but how the hell do you pronounce your name?>>
It's about time someone asked...
Some of them have various pronounciations:
Quizxs: Quiz-icks, Quiz-cks, or Quiz-ecks. You can say the 2nd in a single syllable if you try.
Xysar: Easy one. Zi-zar.
Zzaasdp: It should be easy. One syllable: Zasdp, aa as in "Cat." If you must, Zas-dp or Zas-dip. I DO NOT like the last one.

Quizxs Xysar Zzaasdp
Quiz-icks Zi-zar Zasdp
Even easier pronounciation: "Kyoo."
