I'd like to thank everyone that participated in this wonderful event.... either as an official, a duelist or an observer. It was a wonderful two evenings, full of fun and good times, and some of the most unusual refreshments I've had the pleasure to sample in a long time.
I know that my holding the ring for the next weeks does not in any way make me a *real* Baron by some people's standards. Be that as it may, I hope to do the position, Alex and House Oakenshield proud by it. I include the House in that last statement because I'd hate to see this Tournament never occur again due to something that a winner had done during their time holding the ring. It was too much fun for that.

Again... My thanks to all......

Jeffrey, Summer, Alex, Altara

T'was a grand eve indeed. Mine compliments to House Oakenshield.
Khrys, lass, most adroitly won, nae doubt that ring fer the nonce rests 'pon a prettier hand than Alex's.
Master Strude, well dueled.

Jeffrey, thee? Commoner fer two weeks? Tis another first fer the record books, Shorty.

Jona

Yeah yeah, ya knew I's was gonna win it. It was a win/win situation. Hey, Khrys beat me once, she's a tough cookie, I'm just tougher. It was a dang good tournament and some nice fights involved. Whatta party. But, of course, I came out winnin' in ta end. Sorry 'bout that Khrysy, ya be a tough one, but I always have ta upperhand. What was that, undefeated in 6 duels?
Wooooo...

Good callin' Jeffy and ta nice tournament it was. Nice fightin' Khrysy. Ya gots yaself a ringy on ya finger.

Yes, Baron Ronny is here. Senior baron to clarify. Fancies and all, ya'll best be watchin' out, ya hear? Watchin' out I say. Time ta break some bones and slice some skin, I be ready. It's in ma' blood ta win.

Ta win, ya hear? Cheers.

To our Lovely Guests,

I would like ta thank all of ta participants and observers for a lovely two evenings. There nae be a one I nae like ta visit with again.

I also would like ta thank Goldendust Evermeadow, for going above and beyond the call of duty. Without his support, and last minute intervention, this tourney may never have happend.

A thank ya also to Altara Poison, whose gracious presense be a light in our home.

A thank ya ta all ta house members. There nae be a one who did nae help in some way ta make it happen.

And finally a thank ya too me husband and Av...Alexander for giving up thier rings to such a fine and worthy cause.

A thank ya ta Ecore, whose bad betting style did provide us all with a fine repast.

Finally a congratulations ta Khrys and Ron. Ya make a fine Baroness and Baron, I look forward ta see just what ya will do.

::Smiles and wonders who Ron was in a past life, perhaps a amberite::

Ron,
Congrats on your winning the tourney. T'was no small task I'm sure, but I remember a time when you said I ran from ya, you good for a peer now. Come find who runs.
