I do not see why you decided to say something in response to my post, but since you so politely responded, I also will do so. Drey never did say that Lucian was an inactive baron in the first place. He simply said that he would like a baron with a more active status. That's his opinion and none of you can do anything about it. To the best of my knowledge, he believed a baron should be more active than Lucian was at the moment. I hold no opinion
on this either way, but Drey did and he did what he should have done to solve his grievance, challenge. I do not recall Drey calling the community morons and I don't really care if he did or not. I believe the community bashed Drey because it was a politcally wise move to support Lucian and not the relatively new dueler who hadn't really made a name for himself yet. Standing up for Drey would've been political suicide and, as far as I know, noone
did so.
Now with this challenge, the tables have turned. It's a wise move to support Drey it seems simply because many do not like Lupton. I don't have a problem with him, save a few moments of disrespect in the arena, but it's known that he's not the most popular figure. In my opinion, Drey should probably be bashed again for challenging without making his reasons known to the community. However, the general dislike for Lupton is preventing this from
happening as of yet.
I'm just simply stating something that I find interesting. Watching the politics taking place in this realm seems to be the most enjoyable aspect of Rhydin for me lately. I didn't even expect a response to that post.

Do not jump to conclusions again. Cletus did not approach Zafiroo in the dark...he did state his reasons in his letter of challenge as mailed to the Baron's and officials.

I meant Lupton's challenge was totally in the dark. As in, no one really knew until Daegarth challenged. And Cletus did pretty much what I did except for his reasonings in his letter to the barons. We discussed it in privacy. Feels better to me.

I may not have agreed with all his reasons, but the polite and well mannered way he presented his beliefs impressed me... especially compared to the rude and arrogant comments so many others toss around.
