To those who would brag about who beat who when,
Any given dueler can beat any other given dueler on any given day during any given match, and considering the vast majority of people posting about their dueling prowess don't usually have a better dueling percentage then about 2 out of 3 duels are wins, your wasting air with your ego.

Oh, I don't know, E. If, for example, I said that I had beaten someone or other, I would think that would be a rather big deal. I mean...If I can beat them, they -must- be bad.

I have already received an award which can be summarized as this:
"Show me someone who hasn't beaten me in a duel, and you'll be showing yourself someone who hasn't dueled me."
Beat that.

What...
A sixty-something duel winning percentage from the moment I made Warlady isn't something to be proud of?
Especially when more than seventy percent of those duels have been against peers?
Having only had four weeks since the day I decided I wanted to be a Warlady where I had more losses than wins isn't something to be proud of?
Of course, there's many other things to be proud of that I haven't done.
This should not be seen as an "I'm better than you" post.
These are things -I- am proud of, for myself and no one else.
P.S. I've beaten all of you guys too, so there!

::sighs and posts up a note::
To whomever started this discusion, I agree. Our current Overlord is one of the best I have seen since arriving in this land, only days after Dalamar's death. Then again, thats only out of four. He has shown nothing but pure honor at all times that I have seen him, and two of my friends, who know him much better, being members of his House, I think, would testify the same. I am nothing but a commoner, and I am likely to stay that way, but the
Overlord has my full support, in any endevor he makes.
At your service,
SaRandal De'Lamana

Puts up a copy of some obscure history text
A renegade under Overlord Dalamar ArD'aumon, Billy went so far as to invite a queue of challenge. Three warlords took up the invitation and were scheduled to duel him in consecutive matches on the same evening...... The victims were, in order of challenge, Zaradda Eltorch, Verceterix Gavin 'ur Favre 'il Thorne and G'nort Espelande G'neesmacher Dragoon Talanador. The combined score of all
three matches was 15.5 - 6 and Billy walked away with the 5th ring still on his finger. The night was a spectacle of skill and endurance put on by the sap gloved Baron.
Doesn't bother mentioning that he did it all without a single fancy.
Grins to himself as he walks away, hoping Gnort tries to use that slash in the last round match that he managed to win.

Rix chuckles as he comes across the history put on the boards. The history of the same ring which he is the holder of. He grins as he remembers how well he dueled, despite coming out of it with a loss.
Walking away from the boards with a smile, he is especially proud of forcing Billy to use fancies on him, while he did not use one himself. Sort of a moral victory, at the least.

::falls for the bait::
Well, Billy,
Seems I successfully slashed you for the win in that one match I won against you. So, it goes to show, I've beaten everyone at least once.
Having fun,
*G*

Are you saying slashes are good then, G?
I think so, too.
Two thumbs down to G'nort 3:16 (that is so fun to make fun of.)

Slashes are only good when they work against someone like Billy Ray. Because it's more amusing.
