Tis nae that the matter of Madame Jaycynda Ashleana's challenge wast in the realm of 'interpreting' conflicting passages in the written rules 'o engagement. The matter wast the blatant setting aside by Madame Helix Girvin of the written rules 'o engagment.

Duc Percival Marchand de Clermont, the matter of Ecore's improper challenge wast overlooked by the official whose duty it was to adjudicate the matter. Once the circumstances were brought to the fore the matter wast given unto the Council. I shall remind thee that the matter wast sent unto the Council following the duel in question.

Further, Your Grace, the official whose duty it wast to make the decision in the matter of Madame Ashleana's challenge did make the decision declaring the challenge invalid.
T'was overridden by Madame Helix Girvin, improperly. Shall we hold then that valid decisions may be unilaterally set aside whilst invalid ones may nae be set aside? An interesting premise.

One must ponder this, gentles. Nay in the history of these rings hae the Supervisor unilaterally set aside the written rules of engagement. Wherefore shouldst Madame Helix's wrongful decision be upheld? Wouldst thee then hold that such wrongful decisions be given the grace of 'right' in that they shall nae be questioned? Fie, cowards stand silent whilst anarchy ist a'bornin'.

It should not have been given to the Council at all. Period. It was Lord Evermeadow's responsibility as Supervisor and by handing the matter over to the Council he abdicated that responsibility in an inappropriate manner, in my opinion. But, as I stated, the decision was made and it stands as is. I am not trying to get anyone to change a Supervisor's decision because I personally disagree with it.
The whole notion of trying to change a Supervisor's decision because some of us disagree with it personally is ridiculous. Why even have a Supervisor, otherwise? Golden, in my opinion, made the wrong decision. Yet he made it, and it stands.
As for Helix's decision regarding Jaycy, I believe we have already argued this one out. Nearly everyone in the Arena argued that one out, I believe. I know all the facts, including the ones that some people chose to ignore. I don't see any reason for others to argue the case again.

Yeah, I screwed up, and even though I wasn't happy about it I owed up to it. Yeah, I would like to still be wearing the Seventh, but I am not and I know I should not. Even, Daelin, who lost a match that was thought to be a challenge match owes up to a certain reality that something must be done. He has asked to be tested.

While those like Jaycynda sit on their laurels, and even worse sit on a lousy record. She sits on her title not particpating as much as others because she know her reign is tainted. People ask why I wish to become Baron.

It's because I simply wish to destroy the Council. In a way like it would be asking the doctor to let your mother die for betterment of herself more than all.

Ecore,

Jaycy not participating as much as others and sitting on her title? Until her recent misfortunes, she was one of the Barons more active in the community. Of her recent misfortunes I can only say that were I kidnapped and held as a slave, I might be a little less active too. As would you, I am sure. I know that I would be occupied trying to escape my captivity, which might take up so much of my energy and effort that getting to the Arena might have
to wait until I was free again.
Of course, that is just me. If you believe that we should punish her for being kidnapped than, by all means, argue the point strenuously. I look forward to hearing the points you choose to stress to prove your thesis.
As for her lousy record, I believe she has been challenged a few times by people who objected. I believe she won all of those defenses. I also understand that she has no wish to forfeit a ring that has never been resigned or forfeited before. She seems to thinks that such a forfeiture would somehow sully the ring's honor. How silly of her.

You were stupid enough to make the charge, now prove it. Show me where there is no trace of me being in the realm, no presence on the boards, nor in the arena except to show up for tourneys.

Fact is, "Ecore", you cannot prove it. Number one, you are not even around long enough to witness anyone's attendance/dueling status first hand (your crises du quart seem to hamper your chances to observe with any real regularity); number two, you cannot even take the time to read the boards to catch up on what you have missed before making such ridiculous claims.

But even knowing you cannot prove it, you will be too stubborn to admit how utterly ignorant you are. Before spouting off, have you ever stopped to think if you can actually back up the garbage that comes out of your mouth/writing implement?

As a side note, Morgan has defended one of the rings she has held, and defended successfully. More than simply successfully. She not only won the challenge, she won it as a shut out. I should know. I was the officiating RDI.

Fellow patrons~

I believe all can remember the hell put upon myself, Jola Savage and Jaycynda by the foul Khan Jorah. Even with injuries making her unable to walk for more than a week or to speak for even longer, she managed to be a part of this community as much as anyone else. Her valor in the face of such evil that would haunt us and during the attack that caused her injuries shows that she is no "abject coward".

Yeah, except for the fact that she's not allowed to wield a weapon or allowed to do anything against her master's wishes and has some sort of mechanical device on her which basically shocks her whenever she doesn't behave... yeah, cowardence, that's it Jony Baby.

Boy you're a crybaby.

You sound like one of those puritans. You guys know who the puritains are? They're this group of moral based society of moral attackers. They burn witches they couldn't prove ever had any magical powers and put letters on women who had sex outside of marrige and had little bellboys who's job was to humilate her in public... they were also misrable beings who secrately hated their lives.

They were a big group of crybabys.

I read in this one book, the entire village of puritians were attacked by Indians, and damn was it funny. I pictured Jony Baby as one of the ladys who got shot in the leg with an arrow and sat there crying for help while the rest of the town was in chaos.

I can't remember if I pictured her getting scalped or if the Indians just pushed her back to the ground and called her Buffilo Droppings. It was something along those lines.

Fake Gods, if you ever curse me with a brat, and they cry like Jony Baby here, I swear to you at the age of three, I'm going to say "No More Crying, at all, understand?" and if they cry over something stupid, like what Jony Baby here is doing... WHAK!
