It wasn't easy, then again she supposed it never was an easy situation to battle with addiction. It had been over a year since she dueled, nearly so long for the last time she had spent any appreciable amount of time in the Arena.

Last night had been a test and she puffed up slightly counting it a success, or at the least a passing grade. She only shot one person with the dart gun and that was only a serving boy, albeit one she knew. It was a "hello" of sorts, a "hey there, I missed you" type of thing and so it didn't count.

She only pulled Boris out of his pouch once as well, that was another victory for her. That man, Val, still tickled the edges of her memory, he seemed more than just familiar. After travelling so many places and scared-- meeting so many people, Red supposed that was only natural.

She drew a fine line on the wall demarking another day free from pranks. Yep, fighting addiction was an uphill battle.
