Seems to me that predominently, when a duelist has made it past the intersession on their own skill, they win the ring they were seeking.
Yet when a duelist makes it past the intercession due to the aid of a Baron, they generally fail to gain the ring they were seeking.

Thank you for the interesting reading, Cassius. It will be interesting to see what things will be like two years from now, if we try to look at intercessions again.

Cas, without any intentions of taking away from this very interesting information which took quite some effort to compile, I am sure, I think everyone should be reminded that there were a lot more intercessions than just the ones recorded in our official histories (which only recorded events that occurred roughly after Athlstan's reign began).

I wish we had kept track of that information from the beginning so we could have accurate figures from which to make our comparisons and interesting notes, such as what Drakewyn deduced from the reported facts. It would be quite intriguing.

Thank you for doing your part to record and remember history.

No, not inaccurate. Everything in the histories, as described, happened as described. It is incomplete, as there were Intercessions before Athlstn's overlordship, but the histories were begun while he was Overlord. They are accurate as written, just not backdated as far as might be liked.

Yes, inaccurate, in that they are incomplete.

Cas, since ye are bored, do Intersections for when the Overlord had someone that was challenging for the crown step in.

The only history of intercession I am sure about is the first case of a warlord interceeding on part of the Overlord. Although I liked Siera as Overlord, that was a very selfish time in my life and I knew that this was the first time a warlord would have defended the Overlord under the new challenge rules and I wanted that slice of history for my own. I was still a snot nosed ruffian at the time and still trying to make my presence
known to the whole of the community.

Feadur, Alkron and myself had a round robin to decide would defend then Overlord Siera Redwin against the challenge Of Elijah. Due to either luck or fate I won the round robin and the right to defend the most delicious Siera. At the time Elijah and I had had a falling out over who exactly was the "bad boy" of the DoS, a rather childish argument indeed, but we both were gun-ho on claiming that right for our own. Not only was the match to be for the
overlords title, but it was also for the right to call oneself, the "Baddest man" in the DoS.

It was a wild night with a heck of alot of controversy but in the end, I won the match 5-2 I "think" and from that day forth, I had been known as the "Bad boy" of the DoS.

:: an unsigned note arrives written in an unknown hand delivered by a messenger ::

There are even missing intercessions since Athlstans reign, whether they are missing in this compilation or in the histories I am unsure.
