::Tacks a note to the board, then leaves them until this is over::

Things have yet again changed for me.
I give a challenge to the giant killer, Eros.
He has Dalamar, Wulfson, now Jeff, under his belt.
I look forward to testing his blade.
I salute his accomplishments, and respect them.

The youngest baron ((god i am hoping i am right with that one)) heard the news, and could only quirk a brow. Damn... Eros only had the ring for two days, and already a challenge? Hrm, i wonder if thats close to the record. But then again the standings aren't up so this will all blow up into a huge thing.

Drey as well as Avery was a bit bemused but it was surely not the quickest challenge to have been ever received. Drey had his the smae night...

He could only pen te simple not...

Good luck, Eros, my friend. Duel well.

May fate guide ya, Meth.

hey, if standings aren't up yet, and Drake read the missive she is by rule to recieve, the challenge is null, void, and the idiot looses his right of challenge for the cycle.

tid-bit of the day for those not keeping score.

Standings up or no... perhaps people should wait to find out if an actual missive of challenge was sent...
Which there wasn't...

::Stares at Drake's note for a while. After a while, he looks at it thoughtfully, as if a whole new revelation has chanced upon him. He then speaks his mind out loud which makes it possible for anyone to hear::

And to think I used to regard him with some respect. This is yet another sad challenge to even dignify with a response.

::Eventually, he heads off to do some other readings::

((AN: Because of recent discussions about negative thoughts and power gaming stuff, I might as well use this post as an example of what I, personally, feel is fair and not power-gaming material. Anyone who is around can see or hear Var, and thus they can react to what Var has said or done as they see fit, as long as they don't try to control Var's actions themselves :)

If anyone feels insulted or that I am not doing a good enough job to make it fair, all I can say is that I'm doing the best I can. Sometimes, Var will use his judgement on whether or not to post, and this is one of those times when he doesn't feel like posting. If I feel he'd post these thoughts, I would have him do it immediately))

::Reads the post and sighs::

Ah Drake you took my fun away, I was waiting for Jona to run her mouth, and the challenge will be sent when the new standings are up. For all who wanna know.

You mean he managed to amass enough wins to not only become a warlord, but get ten peer wins?

Geez, I figured he was a commoner.
