It had definately....been awhile. Long enough to have almost forgotten about the Arena and its rings.
Adonai stepped into the Arena, cloak drawn over his head as he quietly observed a few young bladesmen taking a turn at each other in the ring. A fair turn from the gruesome plane of warfare that he had just came from.
The call was there, the yearning to compete with his peers, to stand shoulder to shoulder with old friends. But, alas, there was a war to be fought on another world, something of more meaning. Something that mattered, unlike the Arena he still distantly loved, something meaningful.
With a nod and a sigh, he turned from the Arena once more, heading into town and gathering the few remaining things he had in his townhouse.
"Mayhaps one day...." Adonai said, looking around at Rhydin Towne, his gaze stopping at the Arena complex for a moment as he willed a rift in time and space into being.
"Aye, mayhaps." He said, stepping into the portal, taking himself from RhyDin, to the plane of Tallon Zek, on the world of Norrath, where a war of monumental proportion has begun to rage.
Left behind him, in the darkness of the townehouse study, one piece of parchment, lonely and alone upon the massive oaken desk.
