Meth's colors

::Puts the last note up::

I will duel under the flag of Avalon, a black flag, with three red stars on it, and a half crescent under them, in satin. My second will be Tara, to prove that I bear no bad blood towards women. My lady of honor will be Jayclin, if she can make it, married life is hard on her time. My blade, ofcourse will be Angel, it has been by my side from the beginning, it will be there till I finally leave for good. I also want to let Zen, know, that if I
happen to walk away with a ring, he won't lose a loyal baron.

Methous dueling under the flag of Avalon? Hmmmm. Morgan isn't my favorite person, but I was of the opinion that she had better sense than to become involved with someone like Methous. I would tend, for this reason, to question Methous's right to duel under such a standard.
Of course, I suppose Methous could mean a different Avalon. I would certainly hope that was the case. If it is, however, I would like to think that he would make an effort to avoid such mistakes as might occur all to easily on these boards.
That said, go Eros.

Is it just me here or does this sound like a pathetic attempt on Meth's part to keep Zen out of this challenge? Even though I'm not a fan of intercessions I would have no problem with the use of one in this case. Either way, win Eros.

As he wonders by the board, something he does so infrequently, he finds, as always, several word wars being spewed about. Though only one catches his eye. He frowns slightly reading upon all of the post, and the lack of at least some integrity on a few patrons part. Oh well, he smiles slightly as he feels confident that Eros, being the honorable man he is, will take to the ring himself, and defend his own with honor, and shut the man down with
his own blade. As it seems it was him, and his family that were insulted, not any other's.
He shrugs slightly, not wanting to put more thought than necessary into the matter and wanders off into the night, thinking of his own future plans.

Percy,

I too could claim the standard of Avalon if I so desired, for my mother is a priestess of that fae island. One does not have to be involved or in alliance with the lady Morgana to claim Avalon as that which they choose to champion. No disrepect intended towards Morgana, and I find it rather displeasing as well that Methous claims the isle of my mother's home.

Elijah, Percival and others.

As I understand it, Methous is referring to a Realm known as Avalon... the exact location of which is unknown to me.
My Father told me tales of that Realm, saying it a close match to another Realm known for it's mighty princes.

Percival

Tis much ast having Methous declare himself "Protector of Rhydin". Rhydin, neither the vast planet nor the vast City, certes needs nae such ast Methous ta protect her, nae ta mention, Rhydin and her inhabitants, save for a verra few what wander to the cork or find their way to the basement, hae been spared the dubious pleasure of witnessing Methous. Tis certes the fey land of Avalon, what ist looked after by the Lady Morgana and the Ladies of the
Misty Isle hast been spared the wanderings of the 'godling'.

I know not what Avalon Methous speaks of, for where I live, no one enters or leaves without my knowledge or permission, as is my duty as high priestess of Avalon and high Lady of the Lake.

I am not going to fathom what reality or other isle Methous and others may or may not be referring to. I only know my own histories and responsibilities in my own time and place.
