Challenge to the overlord

Patrons of the duel of Swords,
I post this letter upon these boards, and send copies to the homes of many, to inform the community I shall be challenging for the position of Overlord. I do this with the highest of respect to the standing overlord in Zen Rising. My challenge is not to prove anything to anyone, as I know what my blade is capable of. My desire to challenge is heated by my own wishes, most of which are directed on improving the community of these halls. I feel that
as overlord, I could speak such as an overlord has not done in quite some time, but I feel is what is demanded of him. To speak through the community, and not oneself. If any person question my reasoning, please feel free to contact me, I will explain in more depth my reasons. Below is a copy of the peer victories I have collected in the past few months.

in truth Percy, the 24 days should have begun but with the tourney being pushed to the 13th, I fear the 24 days have been forestalled as well.

The grace period of 24 days without challenge to the Overlord is counted backwards from the first day of the Warlord's Tourney. Which means someone would have till the 20th of this month to issue challenge to the Overlord considering the such late date of the Warlord's Tourney this season.

If you remember recently Unagi actually challenged for Overlord about two or three days after the dates for the Warlord's Tourney in the Spring was issued to the public, he challenged the 25th day before the Warlord's Tourney for Overlord. Thes rest is history.

Come one, come all to the challenge made by the warlord Gunthar to the overlord Zen.

The match will take place on Wednesday, August 18, in the Dueler's Arena, at ten o'clock in the eve. (Eastern) Drake has agreed to officiate the match.

My particulars will be announced at the match.
