::He gets the quick response he asked for from Golden, and reads the letter with a hlf-smile, he only wish Cas was here to help him pack::
It's been a ride, but it's over.

You have to face a challenge to be considered undefeated, I think . . .

Well, Rix, technically one could say he has been defeated even. After all, most sports I am familiar with count a forfeit as a defeat. So, by being in forfeit, he lost. True, Aspen didn't win, but there is a definite argument for the statement that Methous was defeated.

Gentles

Perchance th' Boron ist lackin so in wit he hae nae realized he failed to defend th' Eighth Ring. Therefore tis amusin' th' 'e wouldst attempt ta state 'e be undefeated. Tis further indication 'o 'is total lack 'o intelligence, ast if anna be needed.

Tis if'n th' Fates be kind, 'is demise shall be accurately reported, 'is body found an' utterly reduced ta ash, th' ashes sealed in an adamantine casin', loaded aboard a drone inter galactic freighter set on course fer th' farthest reaches 'o th' star system an' deposited inta a black 'ole. I shall be more th' 'appy ta pay th' freighter company fer th' ship.
