Marius Challenge Take 2:
Having had my previous attempt to challenge drowned in an ocean of red tape; I Gaius Marius Colestae, hereby challenge the Baroun Zafiroo Turidan, holder of the 1st ring, for his title. Once again there are no feelings of Malice or Political discontent behind this challenge. As anyone who knows me will tell you, I have no Malice or Politics... Only Love. Marius is all about the Love. It is therefore with a feeling of universal agape' that
I put forth this challenge.
I have never met the Baron Zafiroo, but have heard tell of him as a dueler. He has held his ring for months and defended it gallantly twice. This looks to be a hell of a challenge and I am anxious to see if I can prevail.

I don't mean to nitpick, as I always assumed Peer Wins were zeroed out in the event of an invalid challenge, but from what you have here from the rules it says that once a challenge is met the challenging WL's peer wins are zeroed. Marius didn't actually duel his last time around, so the challenge wasn't actually met. The second paragraph seems to be the one that actually applies. His previous challenge was in fact found to be not properly served
and was voided by Drake. But it states plainly that the only penalty is to have the right of challenge stripped for the remainder of the cycle. Nothing is said here about peer wins.

Take back your challenge, and take it back now, before you are voided again. It is right that all your PWs were voided from the last time. Which means you must start over. If you try and follow through, you will loose your right again for this cycle. I only say this because i would hate to see you lose two cycles.

I was assured the integrity of my PWs in a private missive from The Lady Drakewyn, and the penalty put forward was that I would be unable to challenge for the remainder of the cycle. The cycle is over. If my challenge is voided by Drake with me having misunderstood her in the penalty for my previous challenge then so be it....

From what I know..
When an Invalid challenge is issued, you indeed lose all your peer wins, and your right to challenge, then must start over from scratch again.
I am certain Drake would have done this punishment properly, as was in her post upon the first issued challenge. So there must have been a misunderstanding therein.
Sorry, but this challenge shouldn't be permitted to go through.

This challenge should be invalid. When you challenge, you lose all peer wins you had amassed up to that point, regardless if you submitted them for verification. At least, that's how its been for as long as I've known.
