The Baron's Council Future
From: elijaheagleecore@aol.com (ElijahEagleEcore)

In answer to a current Baron's query,
Every single Baron who was on the Council during my situation. Every single Baron in any situation I have been involved with. Every single Baron who I have found to taint the titles. Nothing personal with any specific person, but the whole institution of the Baron's Council. I have hated the institution of the Baron's Council since it was created. I do not seek title for glory, but for a more private goal that when the time comes for fruitation
of Trescendence, the full extent of my plan shall be unvieled. Do not worry, for I have already set forth the "Dragon Templar" who shall achieve complete control of the Baron's Council. Everyone should consider themselves a target though for many of you it's nothing personal. My agenda is beyond personal grudges, but for something for the sport as a whole. I have no comrades left in this sport, there are none left who I care for anymore. I have
nothing left to lose in this Arena, for I have already lost everything that meant anything to me. All I have left is personal glory and my own personal agendas. You are just expendable extras in my plan for the future. I expect resistence of course, if not, it wouldn't be any fun. And I am here to have fun, and create some chaos. I am the Chaos Dragon, and my hatchlings have been deployed and so the prophecy begins.

I doubt I meet your standards, Ian, but I will certainly do my best to keep anyone from taking over the Baron's council. Whether I am a member of any organization or not.

"I doubt I meet your standards, Ian..."
Why does this always come up?
As long as people aren't obnoxious oafs, I don't have a problem with them...

"What the - ?!"
A short burst of laughter escapes his lips. He can't help it.
"Whoo. I want front row seats for this one," he says aloud as he begins to wander away from the cork.
He pauses.
"Hope he flushed after he deployed them," he states to himself, a joke that tickles his own funny bone.
He turns back to the board to scrawl while laughing to himself:
Good luck, E. Let me know when it's going down so I don't miss it.
~Nova
And, with that, he's on his way.

This is why it comes up. Some people would tell you that I am an obnoxious oaf, quite gleefully.

Jaycy reads that and chuckles softly, penning a quick note in response to Ian.
It reads:
Ian,
I may be quite obnoxious, but if I may be of any service.... ya know where to reach me.

It seems that Ecore feels that the Community has not paid sufficent attention to him as of late.
So, he cooks up the most asinine plot he can possibly think of. Um, ok.

Personally I think this is hysterical. It sounds like the retarded evil scheme that villians in movies always come up with before they get wrecked by some equally lame group of super heroes. Oh, and I'm selling front row seats at $5000 a ticket. Don't try and buy them anywhere else, I've already monopolized the market. Hehe. So who wants the best seats in the house for the inevitable temper tantrum of the century?

He reads through the stack of posts, quirking a grin at Sid's mention of the Sapphire Rose, remembering what he read.
He walks away... he can't help but still chuckle at Ecore's idea, though.

Having been asked...
The purpose for this convocation of the Amethyst Ring is very simple. I have no particular interest in pressuring "incompetent" or "dishonorable" barons from their posts; time has proven to me that such positions will rectify themselves.
However, an outright attempt to take over the council... I will oppose in like fashion. Once a Ring adherent removes one of these Templar puppets, they're perfectly free to follow their own policy vis-a-vis their position. Unlike some, I'm not currently suffering through any control issues...
Regards,
Ian Rex

We're all overlooking one thing...
Does anyone really think Ecore will be able to find enough people to support him in this takeover?
Also, am I the only one cynical enough to think that if he actually does acheive such, he'll just start accusing those members of turning on him, and find some new ones instead?

Zen,
Anything is possible. I would point out that Adonai firmly believed that several people (whose names I won't mention, out of respect) would follow him if he chose to attempt to replace all of Dalamar's Loyal Barons with Renegades. Though I decided that this was a foolish course, and that Adonai merely wanted the power he felt Dalamar had, I did speak with one or two of the names he dropped. One of them expressed the senitment that, yes, he would
have followed had Adonai given the word. Another actually came to me and said he had already joined up.
Was Adonai any less erratic and openly powerhungry than Ecore is believed to be now? There are always people willing to join a crusade. Even if the leader is someone that a majority either dislike or disapprove of.
