To Slash, or not to Slash. That is the question.

To slash, or not to slash,
Whether tis nobler in the mind to slash through your opponent's pary,
Or is it better to cut under it?

A thrust is beautiful,
A cut is pretty,
A parry can be fancy,
But a SLASH is deadly!

Your opponent may drop low, and hold toss their sword in a circle,
Slash through it!
Your opponent may bring his sword up against his chest,
Slash through it!
Your opponent may duck low, and quack a few times.
Slash through it.

My friends, to the abyss with G'nort 3:16, the rule of anti-slashing. No offense to Brother G'nort, or his followers, but I say the only manuver we should not use tis Disengage, and even then, when you're feeling brave, go ahead.

Walking by the cork, Ian stops and flips through notes.

"Brother G'nort and his followers. Feh. I was sneering at the slash when G'nort was still in diapers."

Words well spoken Forry. I think all the moves have their purpose and use them accordingly.

G'nort 25:17

The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the Disses and the tyranny of Slashers. Blessed is he, who in the name of High Cuts and Defense, shepherds the weak through the valley of Slashing, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost parries. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to slash through and destroy my parries. And you will know my name
is G'nort when I lay my weapons upon thy head for attempting to slash..

Now, if only G'nort could duel, maybe some of us Dashin' Slashers would actually have a reason ta worry.

Eh Rix?

Right, Jeff. Though I'm more upset that someone is trying to usurp our positions as the big slash supporters of the DoS.

Perhaps instead of worrying about being usurped as the biggest slash supporters... maybe train a new generation?

Without proper teaching, the legend of the Dashin' Slashers will slowly die away.

The note is left unsigned, but a short woman with silver streaked red hair in a Dashin' Slasher jacket can be seen moving away from the corkboard.

::is *quite* sure there were never *any* women who passed the test into the Dashin' Slashers. Is quite sure of that because to get in, the final test was to beat him in a straight up duel::

M'Lord,

I am not trying to usurp your position, I didn't have the foggiest of ideas that there were any such things as the Dashin' Slashers. I must admit, you've left me more than a touch confused.

In the Warlord's Tourney the last couple nights, I slashed 6 times, and four of them worked effectively.
