Patrons of Swords,

Greetings! I just have a few quick things to say in this note. First off, let me apologize for my absence from the rings for the past month or so. Altough several of ye probably did nae notice it, I haven't dueled in quite some time. I was away for a good deal of time on personal business in my home city, among other places. I do believe that I have wrapped up most of this business though so that I may get back to dueling more consistantly.

Secondly, I would like to congratulate all the winners of the Warlord Tournament. Glad to have some new Barons instead of all those vacant rings.

Finally, the Ninth has been challenged just recently by its former holder, Gnort Dragoon. The date of the match has yet to be determined but rest assured that Gnort and myself will inform ye all as to when it will take place so that ye may all be in attendance.

I would like to also say just some quick things about this challenge. I find Gnort to be an honorable and good man. I would have no problem with him becoming a Baron once more. Unfortunately, his chosen path is through me, and this would be a case where I'd obviously rather remain a Baron myself. There are no grudges in this challenge, however. The Warlord set forth an honorable challenge to me in similiar fashion of the one I offered him so many
months ago. I will look forward to meeting one with his skill to defend the Ninth.
