Talk is cheap; supply exceeds demand. Eep! What an odd fellow, this creature is, and what an impression he is making; he wishes attention, he wishes to be exalted, he wishes to include a hobby into his spiritual practice. Eep! I don't know 'bout the rest of the patrons, but I do believe, considering the latter, that this creature has more serious problems to be worrying over other than is public image.

I am not trying to make myself look better or find political favor of my justifications. What I am doing has nothing to do with how I feel about anyone else here or how I feel about the community. Of course I don't care what you all think, I am just setting the record straight of what I am doing and why I am doing it. It's purely selfish that I want to free my soul.

Unless you can find some individuals who desire to go to the lower planes and confront a demon lord in his lair to release my soul, I have very few others options.

As Guardian of the Seventh till Draco fails me,

Can't be -that- much harder than challenging a Dragon in it's lair and defeating him... Luthie and I could do that... and none of that "sneak up while it's sleeping" stuff that your average so-called Dragon slayers do.
G and his buddies went and fought a couple Dragons in their time... anyone else have any experience with other-planer creatures?

Sounds like we've got ourselves an adventure, kids! I'm always up to confront a tall, dark and ugly.

Seriously, Elijah..just give the word. If only for the selfish means of making my former teacher proud (or at least relieved), I will fight any demon in any of the Nine Hells.

My experience with mythical beasts is sketchy at best, but I have taken on a couple of druid possessed wild beasts. Beyond that at the battle of Londinium I slew nearly 50 big, bearded Gauls within an hour... I dont see how a demon could fight harder or smell worst. I thus gladly lend my steel to quest for E-Dogg's soul.

Imagine my shock findin' out everyone can take a dragon, devil, or demi-god in melee combat. Eesh, I'm gonna start treasurin' my wins over dese people more now.

At first, I thought he said he was doing this for the sport...
Then I believe he said to Jona he would get the last laugh.
Now he's saying it's to purge himself from some demonic possession, or what not.

I'm curious as to how controlling the whole council would provide this, if E just needed the rings. I figured he would have just asked or something.
Even if he needed it now, I wouldn't give it to him. Looks like E will just have to go "kill the demon", and bring along any fools willing to buy his story.

Eep! Tee hee! ::splutters around, laughing his pointed little ears off before writing::

You silly silly creatures! Bold folk, I am sure I am sure, eep! But no see? If Mr. E have soul taken by demon guy, or what who, he'll get it back if he challenges several mortals for icons of a sport which no demon in his little lair knows about? Tee! ::giggles:: Ten little duelists, running into the depths of Hades, waving their pins in the air, hoping they'll best a demon; Tahaa! ::giggles:: Good luck!

Fuezzah.

Well Jeff...

Elves, by their very nature, are not mortal... And I can't say I -saw- Luthien kill a Dragon, I just heard she did.
My mother was a Dragon... could've sworn I told you that. As for me killing a Dragon... I will admit I had a pair of truely powerful swords in my possession at the time... don't have them anymore, unfortunately. But at least my magick's improved since then.
I think G and Gimz were traveling with three or four others when they took on thier Dragons... you'd have to ask them.

Lastly... it's a lot different fighting a Dragon than fighting a Dwarf... especially in the ritualized combat forms of the Duel of Swords. I mean, if we were to use are magicks too, you and I would cause a -serious- mess when we dueled. ::Draws a little smiley face in.::
