I have trouble with basically anything with a blade. Lead lined gloves offer protection, but they still get torn to shreds.
I like dueling against blunts and\or really heavy, slow weapons. I can dodge the blow without taking damage to the gloves and body.

Well, Baphe's weapon is one l really do not like to be hit by. But l should prefer trying to avoid that one in a fair duel over finding myself in a dueling ring with an opponent who prefers to fistfight and wrestle rather then dueling with a blade or two.
