Drakey Pooh,
Considerin' yuir less th' stellar 'andlin' 'o yuir duties ast Standin's Keeper, tis amusin' thee wouldst brag 'bout it.
Ast ta bein' in yuir tenth cycle ast a caller, aire thee wishin' some kind 'o celebration fer yuirself?
Ast ta yuir kids, aye, ye drag th' bairns ta th' basement enow, perhaps yuir lady spouse hae little concern 'bout th', ye seem nae ta concern yuirself wi' it atall.
Ast ta yuir 'olding' a Ring, lass, Billy nae only 'eld a Ring 'e 'eld two an' nae once dishonored either ta duels or ta Rings 'e didst wear. Tis somethin' ye canna say wi' anna modicum 'o truth.
Lass, rest assured thee hae yet ta measure up ta those wh' went afore ye. Tis always amusin' when a self styled "Lady" dost brag 'pon accomplishments, tis seemin' ta point up another 'o yuir peccadillos.
Ast ta yuir running th' Warlord's Tourney, dost thee expect all ta stand an' gi' thee a rousin' cheer?
Lass, tis frankly yuir accomplishments pale when compared ta those 'o Billy an' fer th' matter ta those 'o manna others.

Jona,
What purpose did it serve for you to respond to Drakes post? I am more than certain that Billy can handle Drake in his own way. It seems to me that your remarks were made for no other purpose than to try and take a few more shots at her. They weren't necessary.
Just as blunt,

I'm interested in hearing how Drake dishonored the Tenth in her reign. And I want reasons. Not blind opinions. Reasons. Logic. Oh, and while you;re at it Jona, I was wondering if you could list your accomplishments. Also, the manner in which you've accomplished some of them.

I've beaten almost all of you for an exception of Billy. ;P
But who really cares?
I bet a lot of people have beaten Billy, (Nothing special) but he's 85 up on that.
And Drake,
Congratulations on beating Billy.
Jona,
Billy hasn't disgraced a ring, huh? He hasn't, but what was the point in bringing it up? Billy knows it without you hanging around him to remind him of anything. He knows (obviously) he's a damn great duelist.
He has a (big) mouth, and he's certainly capable of using it. He's even better with his crayon.
Respectively,

I once knew a man who was quite similar to Billy, until Billy had to kill him, I wonder if he is immortal like most people around here.

Funny how its not alright fer Jona ta speak her mind about Drake, but its quite alright fer G, Cas, and Drey (in deir own minds) ta speak out against Jona.
Kinda defeats da purpose of tellin' Jona she's wastin' paper by wastin' some yerselves, eh boys?
Oh and Cas, as far as logic goes, I don't believe Jona once said she was better dan Drake or Billy, so her listin' her own credentials would simply be more pointless waste, at which time you'd probably complain about her some more.

<<Hey Billy...
I've got two kids.
I'll soon be starting my fourth cycle as the Standing's Keeper, and my tenth as a caller for the duels.
I'm running the Warlord's Tourney this time around.
I've held a Ring.
I'm married to the most wonderful person I've ever known in my life.
I've got plenty to be proud of, beating you is a rather small item on the list actually... but it was the one that applied to this debate.
Lady Drake, aka the Gryphon.>>
I dare ask you though stubble-cakes, How many of these things have you actually done well? I know one of them you're pretty rancid at. If your kids are a regular fixture in a place where people cut each other to pieces in the rings, I have to wonder if you're very good at another also.
As for being married...::shudders to himself as he writes:: That's a mistake your husband has to wake up to every morning.
I'll reserve judgment on how well you screw up the tournament till after it's screwed.
You know...I certainly hope you can at least cook.
Luv,
BRK

Jeff...
I personally don't approve of anyone insulting anyone else. As for Lady Starfare, I haven't read a word she's written since the beginning of the cycle. I can only assume by everyone's reactions that she's ranting about me again. However, I no longer care what she has to say in any way what-so-ever.
Billy...
While I do, on rare occasions, bring my children to the Arena... I do this because I trust their safety to a very few people. Sometimes my lady wife is away from our home... and rather than avoid my responsibility to the community I will bring one or both of my daughters with me when I come to call duels.
As for the tournament... it seems the Barons were very satisfied of how I ran the recent Baron's Tourney.
And as for cooking... you can stew in your own juices.
Once upon a time, I felt a duel against you was something to be proud of, win or lose... Now I know better.

Jeffrey~
Perhaps if Jonalyn had kept her insults to herself (especially since they had NO bearing on the discussion at hand, and were being pulled out of left field) nobody would have penned anything in response.
If she wishes to play with fire, I see no reason why you should whine because she got burned.

Sid, I'll have to say that yourself using the opponent's tactics that you are arguing against is very bad form.
Neither of them are "whining", or "have gotten burned", except in twisting what has been said/done to appear to be favorable. A favorite tactic of Jona's, isn't it?
And I fail to see why Drake had to comfort herself with all her accompishments, etc. It seemed obvious Billy wouldn't care a lick about them, and she'd only get backlash from them. Of course, I fail to see why anyone would respond to Billy in the first place.
This isn't to say that Billy, Jona, Jeff, etc. are right with their nearly baseless accusations and attempts to feel superior to others. Of course not, and I really shouldn't have to say that.

I don't see a point in bringing up "I beat him, I beat him." I admit, I only know Billy from what I have read. I have never dueled him before. With what I have read, Billy Ray is a good dueler, but no dueler is unbeatable. To brag you have beaten someone is like exclaiming to the world, "I am breathing!"
If I saw someone exclaim that around me, you want to know what I'd say? I would reply with a simple, "So what?"
Sid,
As a brief side note, Jeff wasn't complaining about G, Cas, or Drey speaking up to Jona. He said he felt it was funny that Jona is being told she's basically not allowed to say any remarks about Drake, yet it's okay to speak out against Jona.
In either case, I agree; if you speak up, expect to get a response. However, as a suggestion, I recommend people refraining from saying, "Don't say that about Drake" or "Stay on topic," when it is clearly anyone's right to say what they want, and we're off topic anyways.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Drake was making the comments because Billy decided to take the "I'm the greatest, and just what have *you* done?" attitude.

First off, I wasn't whining Sid. Secondly, maybe you should go back and read my post, after which you'll figure out I wasn't concerned with "Jona getting burned". She's a big girl, she can take care of herself just fine. I was merely commentin' on da humorous situation before us. By humorous I mean da situation of Gnort, Drey, and Cas condemning Jona's decision ta speak out against someone by doing da very same.
Anyhow, I don't really expect ya ta figure it out, so don't stress yerself.
