"Howdy dere, " she called out to the man standing before the cork boards.

"Hi, " the other person replied without turning back.

"Can ya help a girl out, Mister?" she asked.

"Whatchat need?" he responded, though evidently more interested in reading.

"I needs ta know where ta find the fun like I useta have when I useta come here before, " she announced with a thick southern accent.

He didn't answer nor turn to face her and so she stepped closer to him.

"Lemme tell ya somethin, Mister. I useta come here alls the time and have me lots of rootin tootin fun but my brother tole me I hadda go to school. I didn't learnt too much there ya know cause they all poked fun and said I talked too funny to be alearnin anything so I jest showed em a thang or two. Ya ought to see how they ran like the three blind mice."

She laughed and the man turned around slowly. Facing her, she returned a huge grin and winked.

"Big chickens. Em's what they R. I jest know it. They learnt that it jest aint gonna pay to be unfriendly."

"You dueled here before, you say?" he asked.

"Well Yes Sirree and wit this!" She held up her banjo.

"got some dents in it but I thanks it jest builds up character, " she said.

The man stared at her with a sort of dumbfounded expression.

"I learnt dat in school ya know. To say builds up character. "

She winked again then set the Banjo down against her legs. The man's eyes followed and gazed upon the instrument.

"I can play it too. Wanna hear?"

"Oh no...really its okay, " he answered while holding up his hands. "Well, welcome back and I'm sure you will find the fun you are looking for once again. I must take my leave, M'lady."

"My names Mandy, yanno. Okay, so ya gotta do what ya gotta do, but I heard dat deres these team doolin and I be's a ....well golly, interested in dat. Can ya tell me somethin real fast like bout how to find out more stuff on it?"

"I suppose I can spare a few moments, M'lady."

"Palease! Could ya jest call me Mandy?"

"Alright Mandy."

He spent a few minutes telling the blonde-headed lady where to go to get herself involved. She thanked him and both parted ways.
