To interject..I've been here about a year and a half now, and I don't think I've ever seen the list of Warlords posted. `Sadly, I haven't been here the six, seven years..however long Jonalyn's been here, to make a judgment based on the entire time the DoS has existed. Then again, I'm fairly sure it existed before she came here..but I think I'm starting to ramble, so I'll end this.

Lady Thesbe.

My second paragraph was simply a reply to one person's post which commented about statements made by a person who's posts I generally do not read, finding them too filled with insults and vitrol.

In recent years, it has become the currently held tradition that the list of participants in the Tourney not be posted. I do not know when the tradition changed, but unless the Supervisor says otherwise I imagine things will continue the way they have been for longer than I have been here.

::unsigned casual note::

Just because a few supposed "elder" of the sport who are officials now haven't seen something, doesn't mean it didn't exist at one time. Perhaps, if the officials weren't so lazy and did barely enough to get by, and instead had some espirit de corps of the sport and reviving old traditions, there wouldn't be these kinds of questions. It starts with the officials setting the example, if they care nothing for the pagentry and traditions of the
sport, then who will?

Simply enough.

Perhaps if the older patrons were open to the posibilities of new traditions, there would be less arguements.

Madame Silvertree,

What an utterly amusing turn of phrase, Madame, 'new traditions'. Perchance thee wouldst care to elucidate on yuir idea of what thee consider a new tradition?

Madame, perchance thee wouldst hae all accept that those thee deem to be the "older patrons" shouldst still pen and tongue? Perhaps thee wouldst that those thee deem the "older patrons" shouldst follow blindly and silently into the deepening darkness that thee and others thine ilk seem to so blithely accept? Madame, if tis silent acceptance thee seek, thee may find thineself sorely disappointed.

If it be Utopia thee seekest, kindly travel elsewhere, Madame.
