There she was, out, walking about like nothing had happened.As if the past days ment nothing to her! Nothing!! Vincent watched her walking along, again alone... she had not come to him like he had planed. She had not seen he love after all he had done for her. He shook his head and growled. Damn her!
Jade could hear things as she moved alone, twigs snapping, the russle of leaves...maybe it was an animal but after the ordeal of Vincent, how sure could she be? No doubt her love had warned her of being more careful yet there she was...like a gold fish in a fish bowl, exposed out in the open to be stared at...Free to the prying eyes.
The forest seemed to close in on Jade the farther she walked, the closer the trees seemed to be, more compaced, more restraining, something in her state that could not be very good...Still Vincent moved on, he was not done, he never would be, not till she could see the truth.

It amazed people how calm Jade was. She never showed how hurt and fragile she was inside. She never cried, never showed fear. Xeric was almost more upset than she was. He'd ordered her not to go out more than was necessary, to only be in places that were safe, and not to stay out too late. Jade took care to heed his warnings... and
the only times she was out late was when she was with someone else.
However, Xeric was still upset. Something was still bothering him. Jade could see it in his eyes. The kind of person he was wouldn't let Vincent get away without some retribution. Jade tried to talk to him so he could let this whole ordeal be behind them - she hated when he got upset. Nonetheless, it did no good. He was still out for blood.
Though Jade was usually careful... this night she'd stayed at the Arena a little too long. Noticing the time, she hurried home. Along the way, she grumbled about how upset Xeric would be when she finally did arrive home.
Here and there, she'd hear twigs snapping, leaves rustling, and other sounds that didn't fit into the dead still night. Walking home just a bit quicker, she was quite relieved to see the lights on in her house from a distance. She shook her head as she could almost see Xeric pacing back and forth.
Reaching the front door with a smile on her face, she was just about to open when she was grabbed from behind. A hand covering her mouth didn't allow for Jade to scream.
"Why don't you see?! What do I have to do to make you see?!"...

Jade was now in a panic. She didn't know what Vincent could possibly want to do now. She struggled and pulled for dear life. As she got pulled farther and farther from the house, she began to pray that Xeric would hear them.

Now Vincent wasn't the type to go easily... history had proven that. So stuggeling he got him self free and took in gasping breaths of air.
"You are more the fool then she is!" he yelled with a nearly ruined voice. "Don't you get it? Even if you kill me she will always need me... You will never be enough for her. Never! You will only harm her and that is not for you to do!"
It was febil(sp), one could say, that Vincent darted forward and tackled Xeric to the ground. I will have to kill him! This is the only way for her too see!All I can do for her, All I can give... this is it! His own hands wrapped around Xeric's throat, pushing him into the ground, he was stong for what he was. And giving it his all he tryed to cut off the man's air... "All for you

Jade had never experienced a feeling of such relief as when Xeric threw open the door. While he had Vincent gasping for air, Jade was doing the same. She'd never been so afraid in her life. Jade turned and watched the two as if life had become slow motion. This... this was never supposed to happen.
In all of this ordeal Jade had never really lost her temper, but when Vincent said that all he did was for her, she lost what little sanity she had left. Jade began to scream at him. "Are you mad?! When will you get it?! I hope Xeric kills you!" It may have sounded like a passing thought, but in her heart she knew that if given the chance, Xeric would come quite close to it...
