Actually the vosotros form is very rarely used in Spanish speaking countries anymore. Its the equal of words like thou and thee in old english. The only coutry to use it on a regular basis is Buenas Aires. In Spain its used sometimes in a very formal speech or when speaking to a very important person.

First off, you mean the country of Argentina since Buenos Aires is its capital. Also, I can assure you the form is used in Spain today from personal experience. The degree it is used likely depends on the area of Spain you are in. In Castilla, it is used quite often. You are correct that Argentina uses the form commonly. This is partly due to the strong trade relations with the mother country before and even after independence. However, you are
