Confirmation of challenge
From: dexm@aol.com (Dex M)
Date: 23 Dec 1999 21:34:47 EST
Community of Swords and interested parties.
I am pleased to announce that I do accept the challenge of the Salsinger for the right to be Steward of the 12th. I do offer up the first week of the new year as a general date for which we can meet. Perhaps the Tuesday or the Thursday of that week.
I also would like to encourage Roland to arrange for officiating of the match. I trust he will choose one of the many callers that can officiate with the due care of such an event.
I will be announcing further details as the time approaches. If Roland would be willing I would ask for him to post the peer wins that were approved for the publics awareness.

Community;
I'm sure those of you who weren't present for the Warlord's Tournament are quite curious as to why I have challenged. Well, I vowed that I would earn back the Twelfth ring that night. In a fit of competitive spirit I may have spoken too rashly for some, but I stick by my promises ... and so I challenged the worthy Baron Montoya.
I find no fault with him, I actually fine little fault with anyone anymore, and I think this challenge will be just what the both of us need; in terms of our current career situations. Should he win, he gets that ever-important first defense. Should I win, I prove to my family and friends that I'm still alive and kicking.
Good health, and good fortune!
Roland Salsinger
Challenger to the Twelfth
PS: As per the Baron's request, I present the following peer wins, in chronological order for the public's viewing pleasure.
Peer Wins of Roland Salsinger
1) Baron Avery Shiv Blade
2) Warlord Dave Strosnide
3) Baron Jaycy Ashleana
4) Warlord Seamus MacDonnaugh
5) Baron Var Medici-Giovanni
6) Warlord Cassius Maximius
7) Warlord Gimmzak Stonecutter
8) Warlord Jesse Troyan
9) Warlord Andur Salsinger
10) Baron G'nort Dragoon Talanador
Note: Rank displayed above does not reflect current rank of dueler, rather the rank of the dueler as the peer win was gained.

This Challenge should be required attendance for all young Warlords with title aspirations.
Duel well, the both of you, and with honor, but Dex...come out of it with the ring.

Dex... skill and honor to you.
Rol... first of all, how dare you use me as a peer win! (Kidding!) Don't you know the rules state Jaycy is not allowed to be on peer win lists cuz I'm so good? Hehe...
Second... kick some ass, and may you come away victor.

Good luck to both of you, but win Dex. I know you can give us a great show.
