The following is what I wrote to the council, regarding a matter between an upcoming challenge and a reply made by a baron. This is what i wrote is response to the barons words, and the challenge. I give this to you, for now the battle has begun, and the community is involved, as I have been challenged.
-------

Unfortunately I don't know all the small details of this. Who has said what to who. Taylara has said she offered times, and Magnus says she hasn't. Magnus went ahead and choose a day to hold this on, without asking Tay's permission. That is what I understand. Now... It is not his choice to do this. Sorry Cletus, but the council has found on several occasions that it must be a compromise. The latest troubles coming from the Lupton, Ecore fiasco. If
you recall Ecore tried to force a day upon Lupton, and the council decided it was unfair to do just that.

The two must decide on a time together. The two must choose a caller they both see fit. As far as the place concerned I don't think I have ever seen a fight over that. Yet, If Magnus has forced the time, and caller upon the warlord, then I would think it is fair for her to pick the place. As far as I know, that is all she is asking now. All three must be a compromise. Give and take. I have seen missives where Tay has made an effort to talk with
Magnus on this topic. But, as I said, I probably don't know the whole story. From what I do know, I think he has controlled the issue.

As far as your last letter, it was very uncalled for. We should not lower ourselves to insults over this matter. And she can do a damn thing about it.... there must be a compromise.

Further, because of your actions, I am now turning your alignment to that of Renegade. For many a time now, you have stood against me in my beliefs. I feel it is only right that you stand as renegade now. I had given you the benefit of the doubt, as you once told me you wished to become Loyal. But as a Baron, I feel we must represent the swords. And in your last letter you did so in a bad way. I will not have any barons under my reign as the
Overlord disrespect people, or the sport like you just did. They will not stand loyal to me, or neutral to me. If you think what I am doing is unheard of, ask your brother, or perhaps people that attended his last challenge match. I did stick up for him when people were degrading him, just as you have Taylara. In fact it was a friend of mine which I told to stop. I can understand if there is a rivalry between the two contestants. Yet I had never
heard of such in this case, and found your reply to come from no where. I am not out to try and force people into one direction. I understand there is animosity between people. But, I have judged this last action to be uncalled for.
Since you are a neutral Baron, you are not given the right of an immediate challenge. That rule only applies for a loyal being banished. Yet, as a baron I know you have such a right to challenge, assuming you haven't done so already this cycle. I don't know when you picked your ring up... just know that it was around the turning of cycles. I would hope that you would see the error I feel you made. As always, if we can come to an understanding, then
I see no reason why in the future we can't rectify things, and switch your alignment back to neutral if you feel that is what you wish. I feel people can change, it's up to them to do so.

Magnus, and Tay, I now hope you will talk, and come to a compromise on this.
