Overlord Challenge

Community,

The match for the crown will take place this up coming Monday at the stroke of nine (est). It is my hope that many of you will come to watch this best of three series in the Arena. Let us have a throw back to the old days, as two great fighters put it all on the line.

As another note, the Baron has given his ring unto the up coming Commoners Tourney. It will be the second place prize. It is the wishes of both the Baron and I, that the winners of the tourney, meaning the first and second place finishers, will stand as our seconds. As they will be the ones holding the crown, and ring for that two week period.

Again, I hope to see many of you there.

Nuts. This week is crazy for me, what with the tourney and all. Of course the great fighter I mentioned is Roland, the Baron of the 12th.

My thanks, Overlord, for announcing the match and the compliment. I would like to encourage anyone interested to come out Monday to view the match. Being a best of three, I think it will be a grand, lengthy display of swordskill.

As for the political side of this challenge, my reasonings behind it in paticular; I do not wish to clutter up the cork with the lengthy explination sent to the Overlord and those immediately involved. Many have already spoken to me on this prior and know my motives, so I'm a bit surprised the challenge isn't common knowledge as of yet. However, if you are still in the dark, feel free to hunt me down, write me a missive, or a simple request on the
cork for a public posting would all be readily met. I'd prefer the first, but I know I'm not so easily found.

Actually,

If he dueled like you Var, that'd be a curse. Combined with the fact he looked like Gunthar and smelled like Cletus and G'nort. Roland would be in poor shape. And Gunthar, you forgot gooder goodest in your line. Just being helpfully.
