The ring which you seek is in my posession, as I brought it with me while on a business trip. I do sincerely appologize for the ring not being returned sooner, but the weather did not permit travel, especially in my current condition. It would seem that it's a good thing, too as I see there have been tracing spells put upon the rings, and an item with tracing spells from someone who's practically a stranger to me is not wanted in my home.
Feel free to either send me a note asking to schedule a meeting or come directly to my shop in downtown RhyDin called the Raven's Nest Baubles and Trinkets, so that I can give the ring to you personally. I would be silly to simply leave the ring here for anyone to steal, tracing spells or no tracing spells.
Once again, I appologize for being so late returning the sport's property.

To All:
Rejoice that all the rings of the Duel of Swords have returned to our realm. Do all you can do to protect these rings from harm again. Remove those barons you feel have the ring unjustly or that do not cherish the rings and their position as they should. I say remove them! Do not spew dung filled words upon the boards as this does nothing to remove the baron but instead encrusts more dung upon the ring itself. You each have the power to protect the
rings of the Duel of Swords, step into the arena and use it.
To the Barons:
Defend your rings with honor. Live your lives with honor so as to honor the position you hold. The eyes of the community are upon you.
To Val and the Staff of Duel of Swords:
We have been entrusted with the obligation to protect the rings of the Duel of Swords as well. I implore each and every one of us to do all we can to live up to this obligation. I saw no problem with the spell that resided upon the rings. However, considering the Baron's feeling about its presence I applaud Val's decision to have the spell removed. May I suggest, with the Baron's consent, a mechanism be developed that would return the rings to our
realm in the unfortunate event of an unexplained and unpredicted disappearance of a baron.
The rings are a precious part of our history and should be protected as such. The fact that the rings have always found their way back will be of little consolation if a ring fails to return from the finger of an absent baron.
My thoughts here were meant to foster a building and strengthening of our realm and not intended toward the destruction or defamation of any within.

You have got to be kidding me.
By this very same logic, one could devise a means of confining you away from the community in its best interest, out of fear that you might go insane and begin a magical killing spree. After all, that you haven't done so doesn't mean that such actions are absolutely unrequired.
Again, I point out that in the only instance ever when a ring was not available for presentation to the new title-holder, the person in possession of the ring was the only person who could be said to own it. Obviously, there is some sort of enchantment on the rings already which sees to their safekeeping; Drakewyn, in her arrogant claims of magical expertise, is obviously not competent enough to have discerned this.
I applaud Lord Valentine for this request, and join the call for SOMETHING to be done about this overbearingly arrogant employee. It will forever be a source of shame that I ever promoted this woman's ambitions.

I, personally, would be satisfied with a staff policy regarding the appropriate method of responding to obvious errors in judgment on their parts, individually or as a whole.
Such a policy ought to start at the top.

You used the statement in a divisive manner and you know it. I'd have to ask Var and Noelle if they felt there was wrong-doing. I can't say for sure, but I have a strong feeling the answer would be yes.
