Cas,
Lupton is not an official; we are not on trial -- You're speaking past, he's speaking recent. He's not asking for her banishment of the Swords (unlike you), just as Standings Keeper.
And no, that doesn't mean I agree. I'm holding the neutral ground -- for the moment.

To the community.
If any of the Barons felt their privacy was compromised, I apologize. I had never needed to use the tracing spells I had placed on the Rings, but I believe in erring on the side of caution, thus found such a precaution necessary... which is why I supported, and still do support, Baron Var's request that spells be placed upon the Rings to prevent them from being damaged in the future.

Lady Silvertree:
Though it has been ages since I held a ring, and thus the matter is not a direct concern to me, I do feel the issue has import to the community at large.
Therefore, while I speak only for myself, I hope the community will in general agree with me in saying that your apology is welcomed. I understand that you were doing what you thought was right, and that you saw no good reason not to do it. As I've said recently, however, the road to hell is paved with good intentions. That you now recognize the concerns of those who objected, I view in a positive manner.
Regards,
Ian Rex.

Thank you, Drakewyn, for apologizing. It's appreciated, and very mature of you.

Mister Kildarby,
As a holder of one of the Baronial rings in question, I would like to obtain your services for the before mentioned spell. If your offer is open to all Barons, that is. I would pay you, of course.
Others,
As for the issue. I value my privacy, without it I could not do my job nor could I properly raise my family. I also feel that the Standings Keeper was given too much power here and something should be done officially.
If these tracing spells are to continue, officially, I would call for an addition to the rules which would state that the spells exist and will be used should a Baron simply not turn up for the amount of time which would be the norm for this spell to be implemented. To forewarn anyone seeking a ring that their privacy will be limited when wearing the ring. I also would ask that a separate section be created for the staff. To outline just what
powers they possess and the protocol used when hunting down these rings and persons. I am very wary about anyone claiming power over me without my knowledge, it is on the same grounds with fighting words.
Finally, I would also like to request a secure holding place for the rings within the arena should this continue. Barons could stash their rings there until they return to the arena and duel, that way they could walk about in town in peace. Though this would decrease the value of the rings, I believe, should something like this continue.

I see. I must have been out of town when you apologized for Mithrand. Not that it matters much anymore. That incident came to mind only because you said you've appologized for your mistakes. The sordid details don't belong on this board, but I thought I'd ask you about the apology part of the matter.

As has been proven Lupton, I don't like you.
Regardless, I would like to thank you for accepting Drakewyn's apology. To accept it when others continued their attacks showed great maturity on your part, and in return, I shall discontinue my attacks on you.

Baron Salsinger.
The tracing spell was removed last night.
As for a spell to return the Rings to the Arena, it has been posted that such a spell has been on them since they were made.

> Anon Pheonix's grave.
Didn't you cut off his head Cas? If history serves me correctly I think you did. So shouldn't that make you a murderer? For all we know he could of still been alive at the time you did it. Anyway you had about as much respect for Anon as Lupton. Don't antagonize Lupton over his death, while you played a big part in it also.
Pissed off,
Dustin.

Dustin, as far as I could tell, Anon was dead.
I've seen in this realm many a time the dead come back because the head was still attached, which would allow certain magicks to be worked. I merely moved to prevent that.

Interesting. I was unaware of the details of this event.
If I'm understanding this correctly, then, in other words, Lupton incapacitated him. You, Cassius, are the one who saw to it that the victim's life was irrevocably terminated, which would certainly seem to make Dustin's observation correct.
Again, assuming I have collected the proper sequence of events.

Ian Rex.
