A new celebrity.

Early, early in the morning on the fifteenth day of February, Skyler pushed open the door of the Arena. He poked his head in and looked about. His hair was neatly tied back, his hood was fully drawn, and a thick brown cloak covered every inch of his person, making his identity indiscernible to any onlooker.
After ascertaining that nobody was watching, he crept down the steps, snatched up a doorstop and wedged it under the door to prop it open. He then vanished out into the early morning sunlight. A moment later, he angled his head around the door, casting a few more apprehensive glances into the empty arena. Seeing nothing, he reentered and trudged down the steps, dragging behind him a huge rectangular object. Once he reached the floor, Skyler gently
set the object down and ran back up the steps to shut the door.
He spent the next four to five minutes dragging the massive object across the arena. Finally reaching his destination, the last ring on the south end of the room, he set the object down again and slid a stray chair next to the wall where Gondar's portrait hung. From the folds of his cloak, he conveniently furnished a hammer and two nails and drove them into the wall.
He hopped down, tossed the hammer aside and knelt before the giant rectangle. He knotted his fist in the object's paper covering and ripped it off. Underneath, proudly smiling back at him was a gigantic portrait of himself, Skyler Jackson Chamberland, enclosed in a beautiful ebony frame. The likeness was astounding. He sat on a chair in front of his fireplace at home, hair neatly combed, smile grand and proud, pearly white teeth gleaming, and giving
a hearty "thumbs up." He clenched his hands on either side of the frame and lifted it over his head. From there, he took a deep breath, gritted his teeth, stepped onto the chair and hung the portrait onto the wall. He let out the breath and stumbled onto the floor, having expended nearly all of his strength in the feat.
He sat there, staring up at his painting in admiration. "Now that is one gorgeous guy," he said aloud. Beneath the painting was scrawled this caption: Whosoever defaces this painting shall be cursed from now till eternity.
Skyler rose, brushed himself off and crept out of the arena, a smile on his face.

::considers for a moment...actually having eternity to live out a curse::

::smirks, drawing a rather obviously inane mustache on the likeness of one of the Arena's more ridiculously self involved personages::

::grins and heads off....waiting for anvils to drop out of the sky::
