Master Valentine Evermeadow,

Two eves past, a bald headed man didst enter the basement. Much changed in appearance wast this personage, though there was something familiar about his voice. Though I didst speak with the man, I wast remiss in nae asking some questions which may hae ascertained his identity, though there was a vague resemblance in height, weight, and the way he did carry himself that didst bring to mind the one called Zen Rising. Without further questioning the
person, I would nae venture to opine that this bald headed man wast possibly the missing Baron.

I spoke with Zen Rising at length Saturday evening in the Arena.

In an official announcement delivered to young Master Evermeadow and myself, Baron of the Fourth Zen Rising did officially retire his position, requesting that the Fourth Ring be placed as a prize in the Tourney.
A copy of the announcement will be kept in my archives for three months, and a second copy will be sent to the Keeper of the Histories, for proper recording.
