Cas,
Hast heard Damien whining of late? Where I to be ta chose between a whining, sniveling Lord and the drunkard what canst best him, what wouldst thee chose?
One may avoid the stench of a drunkard if one be so inclined by nae inhaling deeply, the other requires a rather large dose of a potion to still the whimpering. If a man canna stand proud in defeat he be nae an example I shouldst choose to set before the patrons.

So let me get this straight...
Kyle the Bozo got his ass handed to him by a one armed, illiterate, drool on the chin waste product?
And now...::weeps:: And now...::Gasps:: He wants our forgiveness?
For God sakes, The BETTER MAN WON....get that thru your self-pitying brain and get on with your life.
Besides, Damien is a better dueler with no arms, or so he says.

I disagree with his decision to beg for forgiveness *very strongly*. Let's get that straight right off the bat.
But when was the last time I've heard Damien whine? The other day. He does it constantly.
On the subject, more and more, I see you claiming as "honorable" people that most people, using a clear and unbiased head, would not find honor in. People you yourself once condemned.
I await with trepidation the day you find Methous to be honorable, but I fear it is a possibility at this rate.

Certainly. Lupton and Jesse Troyan.
And now, possibly Damien, though I could be wrong and very much hope I am.
Lupton has demonstrated amply his willingness to break the borders of decency for what he wants. Jesse is rude. Both men have admirable qualities, I'll give you that, but that does not mean one should overlook their bad qualities. Wolves have fine furs that are nice to look at, but they are predators still.
There was a time you agreed with this on these people. The thing that scares me, Jona, is this: While Lupton and Jesse, admittedly, have some good qualities, Damien lacks them, in my opinion. And yet, you have defended his worthiness. In light of this, I have to ask: How far away is the day that you approve of Methous and Ariadne and their like?

I think Damien is much better as a baron. Everyone and his brother will do their damnedest to get peer wins to try to get rid of him. Therefore there will be a tad bit more excitement.

Good point Billy.
Though I myself already have the required peer wins.

Cas,
Wouldst kindly present the comments made by me where thee seem believe I hae used the term honourable or worthy with reference to Damien Mortis?
Ast to thine query with regard to the one thee name ast Methous and the one thee name ast Ariadne, tis highly doubtful either personage wouldst do annathing worth defending. Therefore, tis quite possible thee may ne'er find me defending such. Lackwits rarely manage anything but further examples of their inability to do ought but perhaps draw forth a hearty laugh or a shake of one's head when witnessing their follies.

There's nothing wrong with asking for forgiveness after losing an important ring to a moron. It's what got Adeena back to the rings once. Maybe it will do it again.

"do you really think Damien is an improvement over Daryl?"
Talk about reading too much into this statement "The Sixth be well rid of thee, sir."
Why are you putting words in her mouth, so to speak? Respond to what she says, not what you want her to say so you look intelligent trying to refute an argument she never made.

I know you beat Adeena for her ring, Nova, but calling yourself a moron . . . That's being a bit hard on yourself, man.

As said...I could be wrong.
I obviously was, I apologize, and furthermore, I'm happy I was.

There's nothing wrong with being honest. It's why we're not debating over Rix's ugliness or Lupton's ego. We've already accepted them as fact and moved on to Rix's manner of dress and Lupton's ability to hold his water when faced with threats of death by DoF callers.
~NGS
PS: Lupton peed his pants when Janella threatened him last week. He didn't want anyone to know and he paid me to keep my mouth shut, but it wasn't enough.
