Yes, Xeric, we are so happy that you have shared this note with the community, having nothing to hide, and with a pleasant tone. I am sure the community will thank you.
Onto some more sincere matters, though. Topaz, you don't seem to understand some of Drey's attempts to insult you. When he asked you if you've crawled out of your cave yet, I don't think it was him calling your house a dark, dank place with mold covering the walls. I think he was making reference to the fact that for the most part, you have been rather quiet and not as active as some of the current warlords in the community. Maybe you have
been more active, I'm not the judge of that. Moreover, in all fairness, if you don't want people to tell you to shut up, maybe you don't want to tell people to "put a sock in it." Being able to dish it out, but unable to take it isn't a favorable trait, last time I checked.
I see, though, that neither Drey nor Topaz have had much practice in the insulting field. A good person to learn to insult from is Jona. Her posts along with Billy Ray's and Jesse's are the most amusing, and perhaps you want to take some lessons.
Of course, because a few of everyone else has decided to "soften the blow" with their insults, I'll add my own pillow to this as well.
With much respect and friendship (how's that for making the insults weak?),

Lady Starfare.
Doubt whatever you wish, it matters not to me. As I have already placed in your box a copy of the original missive, and been assured by Hubie that you did indeed retrieve said missive, the proof is in your hands.
Young Master Evermeadow is a very busy man, currently heavily involved in the training of our next group of callers. However, I am relatively certain that when he finds the time, he will make his thoughts known.
I must say though, I am rather surprised that you made a post mentioning my name that did not contain at least three insults.
Congratulations.
Lady Drake, aka the Gryphon.

Of course, I believe Drake 100 percent, but regardless, I call for Valentine Evermeadow to publically stand by this announcement. I do this because it is wrong for him to leave Drake to take pot-shots for a decision he made.
Topaz, your telling Gnort to "stuff a sock in it" merely because his opinion differed from yours, was rude, uncalled for, and unacceptable. And your jumbled attempt at a response to Drey, and subsequent refusal to continue when you were obviously defeated, proves that mayhaps you should have remained in your cave, and continued doing what you do best: Marrying at a lightning pace, and hunting Commoners. I apologize to the community for my own
rudeness here in advance, but, in this case, I feel "fight fire with fire" is neccesary.

Madame Silvertree,
Thou art a bald faced liar. At NO time hae thee supplied me wi' anna missive th' addresses ta issue. Th' only missive wh' Hubie hae may hae assured thee wast delivered unto me be a true copy 'o yuir missive 'pon ta cork.
Mine request stands, Madame. Master Valentine Evermeadow hae nae made anna notification unto th' community with regard to anna ruling in th' matter, nor hae he apprised ta community 'o th' particulars.
What ist known, Madame, ist th' ta warlord, Xeric Mues presented an improper challenge unto the Baron Damien Mortis. What ist known, Madame, ist th' ye validated an' illegal challenge. What ist known, Madame, ist th' ta warlord claims ta hae withdrawn 'is challenge. What ist known, Madame, ist th' said withdrawal couldnae hae been afore ye validated th' challenge, unless, 'o course, Madame, thee aire now undertakin' ta validate challenges wh' hae
been withdrawn. What ist known, Madame, ist th' tis nae ta first time thee hae done so. What ist known, Madame, ist th' ye hae blithely tampered wi' ta rules 'o engagement, at yuir whim.
Madame, until such time ast yuir named ast Supervisor 'o th' Duel 'o Swords, perhaps thee shall leave it to Master Valentine Evermeadow ta make 'is OWN pronouncements. I am quite certain th' ta date, ye hae nae been named ast 'is spokesman.
Again, Madame, I call for yuir resignation on grounds 'o malfeasance, incompetence, an' what apparently now appears to be lyin' ast well.
Bluntly,

Gentles,
It wouldst appear th' community be now seeing another 'o th' "Rules According to Drakewyn" I should be verra interested to know how a single warlord may present challenge unto two Barons, simultaneously.
Madame Silvertree,
Wouldst kindly present for the perusal 'o th' community th' ruling wh' permits a single warlord ta challenge two Barons? Or hae thine pomposity, arrogance an' personal insecurity lead thee to decide to pronounce unto the community without leave 'o th' Supervisor th' th' rules 'o engagement hae been secretly altered an' only thee be cognizant 'o th' alterations?
Or, Madame, hae thee completely lost wh' little mind thee may hae once possessed?

Lady Starfare,
I have tried hard to ignore you, but make it impossible even for the immortally patient. You are truly a boil on the ass of the DoS.
When you become a warlord, if ever, and press a challenge, then it will be your business what happens in it, but until that day, I would request you to simply stop and think.
You believe that everyone but you, are wrong, and you are the true wisdom of the DoS. Maybe you should stop and think, that sometimes, your wrong, and everyone else is right. Maybe you've been spoiled all your life, and never had to deal with "common people." In that case, it is good advice to be seen, and not heard. For when you tell the world how wrong it is, your only proving your own ignorance.

Duelers,
Just to verify Drakewyn's statements, she did approach me first to verify that Xeric's peer wins remained intact from the previous situation he was involved in. And I confirmed that they were.
Previously, Drakewyn made an error when she told Xeric that he had enough legitimate peer wins to challenge. Unfortunately, as we all know by now, that was not the case. Normally in an invalid challenge, the right to challenge is lost for the remainder of the cycle. However, in this case, the error was not made by the challenger. It is not my policy to punish a duelist for a staff member's error, so Xeric was not punished. Drakewyn did
acknowledge her error and apologized, so that matter is settled.
In other words, people, I was the one who approved Xeric's challenge, so any complaints about that should be made to me, and not Drakewyn. That is all.

Xeric Mues,
Yuir a blight upon th' sport, an' ignorant, irresponsible fool, what hae nae anna redeemin' qualities atall. Ye issued challenge irresponsibly an' couldnae e'en manage ta count ten different names 'pon yuir bona fides.
If'n annaone be a boil on th' arse 'o th' duel 'o swords it be thee an' thine ilk. Ye dinna e'en hae th' intelligence ta issue proper challenge, nor ta honor ta stand forth an' accept th' responsibilty fer yuir own ignorance in yuir haste ta issue challenge.
Ye be nothin' bu' a laughably ignorant lump wh' some 'ow managed ta find ta basement. All places hae their infestations, boyo, an' ye stand right 'igh among those wh' infest th' once gran' sport.

Master Valentine Evermeadow,
Perhaps thee then excuse the Standing's Keeper's ongoing habit 'o incompetence? Perhaps also ye dinna 'old th' warlord wh' issued challenge ast bein' required to know one 'o th' simplest rules 'o engagement?
T'was nae Madame Silvertree what wrote up the warlord Xeric Mues' challenge missive, t'was the warlord himself. T'was the warlord himself what made claim before witnesses that he hae withdrawn his challenge, yet, sir, kindly explain to the community how one may withdraw a challenge after it hae be validated?
Or perhaps kindly explain how Madame Silvertree couldst validate a challenge th' hae been withdrawn.
I shall remind thee that, during yuir father's tenure, Madame Silvertree didst validate in illegal challenge and th' duel wast set aside after th' match, th' matter being turned to the Council.
Be it now the duty of the staff to babysit supposedly grown men or women through the challenge process, leading them ast if they were illiterates? Be it now that a warlord what wishes to challenge need nae fear that he or she shall face penalty for their stupidity? One who hast reached th' exulted rank 'o warlord an' desires to challenge for title shouldst be at least aware 'o the rules 'o engagement ast should she whose duty it be to validate said
challenges.
I opine the error wast made by the warlord Xeric Mues in that he issued improper challenge. The information wast clearly available ast to what wast required an' t'was the warlord's responsibility to undertake to issue proper challenge.
I also opine t'was Madame Silvertree's continuing incompetence in validating a clearly illegal challenge. And further opine, that in view of her continuing incompetence, malfeasance, an' ongoing disregard for the rules of engagement that she should be removed forthwith from her duties ast Keeper of the Standings.
Master Evermeadow, how much longer shall the sport be made to suffer her incompetence?

How utterly amusing, ye roman lout to attempt to cast aspersions 'pon th' Lady Topaz whilst supportin' th' other ignorant arse, Drey Starke. Birds 'o a feather, eh.
Tis rather amusing that thee apparently aire completely ignorant ast to Topaz's personal life which thee hae made quite plainly apparent by yuir absurd comments. Ast ta commoner 'unting, ye lout, yuir nae one ta comment, considerin' tis long been yuir penchant jus' ast t'was long Madame Silvertree's.

Does this have anything to do with anything, or does this just prove how much of an idiot you are? I find it amusing how far you reach to insult someone. You're worthy of nothing more than a friggin' whip.
