Xeric Mues 1-0
Cas Maxim 3-4

Xeric is the newest baron upon the council. How he ever got passed a stud like Roland is beyond my comprehension. Nevertheless he did win, and that has to mean something. Whether if it was, that Roland was drugged, or that he has skill, is still debatable. Regardless he is big. This has to be his one advantage going into this duel. Should he lay the smack down on the warlord with his massive frame, it will be lights out, game over. On another note, I
am certain that this baron is actually afraid of the Warlord. Rumor has it that he has gone as far as to ask him not to challenge for a week or so. This could be several things. 1) He is afraid. 2) He has a pulled muscle and needs time to recoup. 3) He needs more time to prep. Whichever it is, doesn't bode well for him.

Cas is a seasoned veteran. He has placed high in several tourneys, which means that he is one of the better warlords. Yet, his dismal challenge record needs to be improved. It is one thing to play with the kids, and another to step up to the plate with the big boys. He is coming in fresh for this match, and will be ready to take a head. This might be his one problem. He often lets his mind get clouded by a need to do things. He often makes rash
decisions because he is trying to uphold someone's honor. Even in this match he is dueling in part because of something the Baron said to a friend. While noble, this can cloud judgment. To much pressure is put on himself, and his challenge record is the result.

At any rate, Cas will be the victor. He is long do for the ring, and happened to have a beef with one of the weakest links on the council.

Odds are 3-1 for Cas

I will pay out 10-1 for the exact score, or 5-1 if you can guess the exact spread either way. If you guess the number of rounds that is 10-1 also. The odds for the exact score and rounds are 25-1. Odds of 5-1 will be given if you can pick the total combined score at the end of the match. If you have another bet you wish to make, just contact me, and I will give you the odds.

As always should more information come up the odds could change, but for now they are set. The bet is not legal until the first round has been called.

Bets can be sent to me, or left upon the board. Collection, and payment will happen after the match.

I remember last week when I dueled Xeric, the new baron showed tremendous guts in the duel, at least in the end. Because our duel was pretty much even throughout, it was only the end which I noticed the guts.

Regardless, I think Cas will just find that niche where he will take a 5-2 win.

I agree with Baron Var.

20 jades upon the score being 5-2, 20 jades upon Cassius' victory.
