"Baron, yet Ah mus' ask thee now, sir, whyfore dost demean thine fellow Barons, Cassius Gaius Maximus, Jesse Troyan, Gunthar O'Dwyer an' Damien Mortis by thine crass an' sarcastic comments?"

I try to demean these Barons with crass and sarcastic comments as often as possible. Most of the time, however, they do a good job themselves. Cassius saying he would forfeit a duel then not doing so would be the most recent.

Var makes an excellent point. So-called "honor duels" are nothing of the sort. It's a bully tactic, plain and simple, and a duel with the stipulations such as Cas and Mistress Wells were just involved with is no better than one of these idiotic "slave duels" in my mind. Is this truly a blood sport, a "dance" as it is sometimes referred to, or is this a bunch of neanderthals doing things only because they were beaten
into doing it?

::mutters to himself:: seems like a biddy with to much time on her hands.

I find it odd yer defending two of the Barons who give the appearance of respecting naught but themselves. Yer can figure out which two I mean since yer have so much time to stir the pot.

Maybe because it was Jesse's idea, Jona decided to stick her nose further up his rump.

Nothing unusual.

Let's not get away from the real problem here. Huma's last name is Dragonsbane, not Dragonsblade..let's correct this without any further extra fluff.

Starfare.

Do be so good as to list the names of those of us whom you believe are those who have pushed the Duel of Swords to the edge of the Abyss.
Perhaps with a bit of effort, we could get together and push it over the edge... and let it crush your whining to silence upon it's landing.

Baron Var.

Truely, you are a man of great personal honor. Even when we stood upon opposite sides of a disagreement, I knew you to be a man of honor.
I am proud to have fought beside you, I am proud to have fought against you.

I really couldn't care if it was Dragon or Moron.

Moronsblade seems more appropriate at this instant.

Droopy Drawers Drey,

Tis rather amusin' th' ast well thee wouldst nae pit yuir ring an' title agin Jesse. Bu' nae surprise, considerin' yuir bu' one 'o th' laughable examples 'o wh' passes fer a Baron these days. An' nae, Ah hae nae forgotten thee hae set yuir sights on ta mantle. Now th' be nigh ast laughable a thin' ast Methous lookin' ta garner it.

Madame Silvertree,

How verra amusing th' thee shouldst ask such a rhetorical question. Certes thou mus' be proud ta know thee 'ead th' list an' bu' seek confirmation. Ah am mos' certes 'appy ta oblige thee, Madame, knowin' 'ow oft thee hast exhibited yuir insecurity an' yuir overweenin' need ta hae yuir ego reinforced.

Amused,

Madame Elgarette,

Though tis ta be expected, considerin' yuir complete an' utter lack 'o intelligence, I must say I find yuir mos' recent jottings clearly continue ta give credence ta th' growin' body 'o evidence th' ye hae completely abandoned anna semblance 'o sanity.

A bully tactic, Madame? What wast in yuir mind then when thee attempted ta place a wager 'o "honor" wi' th' Mad Major? Perhaps, Madame, thine failin' brain hast forgotten th' it wast nae ta be yuir blade lifted nor yuir freedom on ta line, Madame. T'was thee attempted ta place another's freedom in jeopardy. Certes, yuir usual, Madame, t'was nae thee ta be in jeopardy an' ast usual, Madame, thee gave nae anna thought attal ta th' consequences,
since, certes, they wouldnae hae fallen upon ye.

How verra drool, Madame, th' thee now come an' make claim th' wh' thee term a 'slave duel' be idiotic. Indeed, Madame, more ta th' point, how verra like thee ta so clearly exhibit yuir hypocrisy.

Madame Elgarette,

In addition, Madame, let us nae forget that thee thineself hae shown repeatedly th' thee nae only lack ta wit ta understand wh' 'onor be, Madame, bu' shall ne'er gain ta intelligence annatime soon ta learn wh' it be unless by some miracle thee obtain a complete transplantation of th' gray matter t'wixt thine ears. Therefore tis natural th' thee wouldst hold a duel for honor to hae nae merit.

A bully tactic, Madame? Be that what thee wouldst then claim wast th' reason th' Devion Silverblade didst call out Percival th' Chaste?
Be that what thee hold th' Jeffrey Oakenshield didst do when he laid his ring and his honor on the line in support 'o yuir former love, Dalamar Ar'Daumon? Be thee so witless and shallow 'o character, Madame, that thee truly hae nae conception 'o ta meanin' 'o honor? Indeed, Madame, nae need ta answer that, ta answer be plain. Madame, thou art a fool an' remain such.

Perhaps, Madame, thee shouldst return ta yuir long agon pasttime 'o arm wrestlin' in ta Red Dragon Inn. At least there thee might find those wh' be on yuir level 'o intelligence. Madame, thou art beyond comical in thine witless remarks, thee hae at last attained ta level of a truly remarkable ignoramus.
