Ironically Ian is a king, because he belongs in a jester's court.
I like jester's, but does this mean I get to duel him?

"Well crap. I'll take the sixth, which stands renegade still. Once I am put in the standings I think I will challenge Ian too."
Well, that's the spirit, Gunthar.
Of course, we'll have to send Sartan over to straighten you out and make you see the light, which might be a little painful for you, but I'm glad you recognize my authority, because, after all, how could you not, really?
Regards,
Ian Rex,
39th Overlord of the Duel of Swords,
Wondering what's with this whole exhumation deal.

Nova Grey Shadow hereby supports the 39th Overlord, Ian "Rex". He demands preferential treatment in all local eateries and a tract of land to be dubbed "Novatown". This land will be populated by females between the ages of twenty (20) and thirty (30) only. None may be less than 5'5" tall or weigh more than 175 lbs. Grey Shadow also requires the rank of sergeant in the Overlord's army.
Should these conditions not be met by Overlordasaurus "Rex", Grey Shadow will have no recourse but to declare himself Renegade to the crown and destroy the Overlord's Pet (Mr. Sartan). We thank you for your attention in this matter.

Well, for the love of God, Nova, all you had to do was ask.

However, the Overlord cannot accede to threats. Therefore, I will grant your requests, provided you write 100 times on the wall of the men's locker room, "I'm sorry I was a butthead to the Overlord, and I won't try and threaten him again without asking first."
Regards,
Ian Rex,
39th Overlord of the Duel of Swords,

Several seconds after reading the message, the bathroom has been tagged with the following:
"I'm sorry I was a butthead to the Overgourd, and I will try and threaten him again without asking first."
This is repeated 99 times before stopping in the next to last stall. Meanwhile, back on the boards:

I could only get 99. The last stall was occupied by someone claiming to be the Overlord of the Duel of Swords Restroom and he demanded I stop. I still get my wom - er ... town, right?

That depends. Just exactly who WAS this person claiming to be the Overlord of the Duel of Swords Restroom, and is he insane enough to think he can swindle me into claiming that title as well?
Regards,
Ian Rex,
39th Overlord of the Duel of Swords,
But NOT of the restroom, no freakin' way.

He didn't leave a name. Said he was busy and I should try back later. He sounded stressed.
"and is he insane enough to think he can swindle me into claiming that title as well?"
He sure sounded insane. How many people in their right mind would declare themselves Overlord of the Duel of Swords?

Ian Rex,
39th Overlord of the Duel of Swords,
Porcelain God

P.S. I fixed your stamp for you.

That, to remind you, would be me, not whomever wins that silly tournament the Barons decided to gift themselves with. Ptui.

Very well, Baron Ganderfald... all you have to do is defeat Falire in single combat. No silly rules of engagement, and you can try as many times as you want. But I'm afraid you will have to defeat him, because being a tyrant, I have to, well, be tyrannical and all.
Regards,
Ian Rex,
39th Overlord of the Duel of Swords,
Loving his job.
