Baron Oakenshield,
I already stated I was willing to talk to you about this, and I haven't disregarded you. However, whatever you feel..you can bet it is almost reciprocated.

Baron Oakenshield,
Actually. I did answer the question before you asked it. As I have said, I may have been wrong. If I am, then you can expect a full-hearted apology. I never tried to hurt Avery or take anything from him I think he deserved or wanted. The reason I voted the way I did is because I believed that a Champion would never go through, I thought that maybe (although it may seem stupid now) by the process I explained before it would perserve Avery. I also have
the logic that after more than a month of being absent and retiring one title, Avery wouldn't want to be just *handed* back a title..Hell, I didn't want to be *handed* back one when I got the Seventh back. You seem to know Avery rather well..Surely you can see this Baron?
Anything else?

Gentles,
Indeed, what dost it matter who Andrew Pyre ist. He hast at least the ability to manage to find the cork, pick up a crayon and scribble.
I am always amused when someone I hae ne'er lain eyes upon takes it in mind to make such all knowing comments with respect to what I may or may nae hae done, and oh so respectfully ast well.

Soon you will all be under my power. I will control and rule all through my dueling puppets. They will think they have power, but in reality, they've undergone subconscious hypnosis which will render them totally under my control. The majority of the Arena patronage are under my control. Go ahead and ask them, they'll deny it. That is part of their programming.
You will be one of us.

Daelin,
My apologies, I remain perplexed. Here is why...
First ya state,
"I don't necessarily see myself as the Overlord, merely a place holder..Upon Avery's return, I request the right from Valentine to pass Avery the Crown without either of us being held in forfiet and that he retain his place as 38th Overlord of the Duel of Swords."
Now ya state,
"I also have the logic that after more than a month of being absent and retiring one title, Avery wouldn't want to be just *handed* back a title"
So, originally ya were lookin' out fer Avery when ya voted ta strip him, now dat da title is yers ya doubt he would want it just handed back? So, if Avery doesn't want it back, are ya just gonna keep it? Hmm, odd way of helpin' da guy out.
Maybe it would have been best if ya pushed he never lost it in da first place. Mayhaps it would have made ya seem foolish, but stranger rulings have happened. No one gave Dal a shot in da world at keepin' his crown when he didn't show fer Huma, but damned if he wasn't Overlord after da whole ordeal was over. Furthermore, I can tell ya from personally speaking with Dal, he was happy he had a loyal stick up fer him so he returned no different dan
when he left.
Avery isn't Dal and you aren't me, but I am having a most difficult time of understanding how voting ta strip him works out ta his favor. Especially, when ya doubt he will even want his crown back.
Lastly, in da past, dear friends have entrusted baronial rings ta each other. When da baron mysteriously missed a challenge match, never once was da remaining party allowed ta keep da ring so as ta return it at a later date. Don't count on Val just lettin' ya hand over da crown, but like I said, stranger rulings have happened...

Lupton writes....
"Not to detract from your statement, but Taylara is far from the best represenative of "loyalty.""
Percy writes...
"Taylara was pivotally involved in the period of intrahouse quarreling and backbiting that so badly damaged HDT, and her public statements about fellow members of a House intended to be 'a group of friends dueling as a family' are not my definition of loyalty at all. Perhaps her emotions got the best of her, perhaps she made a mistake, perhaps she was more heated than she intended. I happen to like and respect Tay, but statements
made comparing her loyalty and Dae's can be firmly refuted by the facts."
Overlord Dragonsblade writes...
"The Warlady is not perfect either, the disruption in House
Dragoon-Talanador involving her speak loudly of that, and of loyalties..I was part of this, I should know. "
Wow, I single-handedly caused the demise of HDT! All this time I could have sworn that G decided to disband HDT. I could have sworn that HDT was still going for some time after *G and I* spoke and I left the house. I don't remember speaking to Dae or Percy. Now Lupton, I can understand him making this comment. But that's something between him and me.
Now, everyone will see people differently then others see them.....that's their prerogative. For example, recently people had different views regarding the Supervisor of this sport. How one feels towards someone doesn't make them right....or wrong. Jeffrey stated an opinion, seems a few took offense to that opinion and rushed right up to make their opinion heard. It's allowed. It be a pretty boring place if we all held the same opinion, eh?
Now, if someone has a problem with something they think I did I would expect that person to speak to me about it. Only person I remember speaking to during the time I was deciding whether or not I would stay with HDT, was G. In my discussions with G, I remember telling him that I thought it best if I left.
Percy says I spoke out publicly. Percy, my memory isn't quite what it used to be so if you would be so kind as to *bring me* this public out cry, I'd appreciate it. You are right in saying I wear my emotions on my shoulder, always have. But those emotions are mine.
What fascinates me is that Dae seems to be getting up in arms about me challenging and I haven't even stated whether I would exercise that right. Quote from the New Overlord's Stances....
" That being said, I would like to add one thing..if I come out victorious against the Warlady, I would have no reservations in meeting the challenge of Baron Starke against Avery as well..unless he would like to wait until Avery returns to take the mantle back from me. "
What Warlady has offered you Challenge, Dae? For you to debate whether you come out victorious or not, you must be dueling. I brought this query to you when this was tacked to the cork. You replied apologizing for my *misunderstanding*. I believe there is more misunderstanding going on here then just the statement above.
When I don't understand something someone has said, I go to that person for an explanation. I believe a few other people should do the same, but that's just my *opinion*.
~Tay~
Enigma?? That's a first.

Baron Oakenshield.
In your anger, you have misread my words.
Opinions abound, and when presented in a civilized manner, they should be regarded in such a manner.
But those who pass judgment upon situations where they have no jurisdiction, much less direct involvement, are hardly what I would call civilized.
But that is merely my opinion, is it not?

In regard to any of the mentions herein of HDT, I ask that inquiries be made directly to me. I would like things to be made clear before they're taken out of proportion of what may or may not have happened, and posted on the boards for all to see.

Baron Oakenshield,
I know not where Avery is. It has been pointed out to me many times that I can't give the title back to him. Plus, when I said I wanted to the title was "mine"..so how does this make a difference? I wanted to give the title back to Avery..and as you and others have pointed out..that might not be a good solution, my original reasoning was that he wouldn't want a title he didn't defend back..and I stand by that. My statement to give it back to him was
a wish I had..one that apparently will not come to frutition even if he does return..I hope this answers your questions about that.
Warlady Taylara,
First of all, I don't see myself to be "up in arms" about anything, I simply stated something once..I never said it again and that wasn't even in reference to you, it was talking about something I planned to do later. My assumption was either incorrect or correct, I guess we shall see. I just incorrectly assumed something it seems, my apologies if I have harmed you.

Overlord Dragonsblade,
I suppose, my qualm is dat you lacked foresight in da matter at hand. Perhaps now, ya realize acquiring da title yerself merely ta hand it over was a foolish plan which will not likely be allowed. However, I would have hoped ya had seen such before ya voted ta oust Avery. Mayhaps, if ya had done so, ya would have voted with more "loyalty". Taken by itself, I will never see how votin' yer Overlord ta be stripped can be considered a loyal action.
Even with da intent ta see him as Overlord again one day, I can imagine up better ways ta deal with a vote such as dat. Fer one, abstaining rather dan helping along da charge ta oust Avery would have been nice. But of course, den I would probably just call ya a neutral baron.
While I understand what ya are saying now Daelin, I cannot help but fault ya fer lack of foresight and loyalty at da time of da vote.

Taylara,
Lass, Percy hast long hae a penchant fer pullin' comments out o' his posterior an' attemptin' ta present 'em ast facts. One 'o 'is more amusin' comments hae ta do wi' 'is assertion th' Ah wast ta cause 'o th' dissolution 'o th' marriage 'o Luthien Tinuviel an' Lord Tynsdale, somethin' Ah imagine wouldst hae come ast a wee surprise ta both.
Drakey Poo,
Ah am mos' amused that thee wouldst make th' followin' statement; "But those who pass judgment upon situations where they have no jurisdiction, much less direct involvement, are hardly what I call civilized."
Perhaps that be a statement to explain oft displayed penchant fer uncivilized behavior. Considerin' yuir own penchant fer castin' aside yuir word at whim, tis certes thee wouldst nae see anna fault in others wh' hae ta same penchant.
Baron Jeffrey,
Ole friend, th' 'aste wi' which ta so called Loyals wh' sat 'pon th' Council didst depose Avery Shiv Blade speaks mos' eloquently 'o jus' 'ow callously an' in wh' regard an' 'oath 'o loyalty ist 'eld by those personages.
Further, Jeff, thee canna expect those wh' wouldst so cavalierly cast aside th' pledge ta do ought else in future. Further, fer those self same so called loyals ta deign ta state th' shouldst Avery's whereabouts be ascertained an' shouldst 'e be found safe, hale an' whole, they wilt agin offer unto 'im th' same brand 'o loyalty thus far displayed fair boggles ta mind.

Jonalyn,
You are in my humble opinion in possession of the attributes, which I have taken the liberty of presenting to you in the ritual insult pattern which given your limited grasp of the English language you may need to refer to a dictionary. However, that is your problem.
You are an arrogant, blabbering, contemptible, detestable, execrable, foolish, grotesque, hideous, insignificant, loathsome, maladjusted, narcissistic, offensive, petty, reprehensible, small-minded, tasteless, uncouth, vile, and as witless a person as many have had the misfortune of becoming an object in your path may attest. By the way an associate did say these were your good qualities though perhaps she jests.
Perhaps it has dawned on you that I find you one of the chief proponents of discord in the DoS. Any scandal, ill-chosen words, or mistakes you are always there to add fuel to the fire creating the flames you burn in.
I know something about burning. Perhaps I will teach you.
