Ariadne,
Were you blind to Taylara's reasons to challenge? Her spirit of challenge was what prompted Daelin to say that.

Dustin,
Her reason to challenge is her own. She dueled many to gain that shot at the Overlord, which is something that most couldn't do. She got the prize of challenging the Overlord and chose to use it, what more is there to it? People always win at the WLT that right, some take advantage of it because they have earned that right fair and square.

Ariadne~
I would like you to point out where, *exactly* where, anyone said that Taylara does not have the right to challenge. You'll find those words *nowhere* in any response to her challenge.
What you *will* find, is an Overlord who receives a scathing notice of challenge from one he perceived (according to his reply) as a friend and who responds in kind. Is it not Daelin's right to call to do what he did? Is he supposed to simply sit back and let her accuse him of all manner of things? Would that be "fair", Ariadne?

Serious, just quit this argueing. She won the tourney, so does that not mean she has a bit of skill? She may not be the best, but she is good enough to get where she is. Hell, her tourney win was more impressive than Dae's, no insult inteded Dae. She decided to press, if she is really as bad as everyone says she will learn a bit in humiation. Not sure if this was what started this, but someone mentioned that since she
was a friend of Dae's she shouldn't challenge. That is a crock of crap, all it does is make it all the more fun.

::Keeps reading how her and Dae are supposed to be such good friends and finally speaks out.::
To those that wish ta know:
When Dae responded to my challenge, he spoke of how I've treated him differently in the past few weeks. He had only been OL for a week at the time.
"This isn't the least bit surprising. You seemed full of malice towards me for the last few weeks. Someone I onced assumed to be a friend."
I hold no malice towards Dae, he came to this conclusion of his own volition. I have seen Dae in the Arena, as I see many faces I know. I have dueled Dae maybe once or twice in the past. We are and have always been
*aquaintances*. A greeting here or a farewell there, a relationship held by a majority of people throughout Rhydin. As for friends, well we're not enemies, or at least we weren't.

Tay,
He was saying your reasonings were a bit harsh, so I don't think he knows where you are coming from. Friendly or from nonfriendly, who cares? I'm gonna challenge, if I make it past this challenge match today, one of ya.
And I have a "FLAWLESS" record against the both of ya. This is gonna be fun.

That's until he realizes he got lost and has to ask for directions home.
Seriously though.
I seem to notice in almost any thread that has been argumentative (I.E., 90%) Drey is the most vocal and abusive of all. Not to mention that he feels the need to answer questions posed to other people himself. "No, they meant this...no, they meant that." Since when are the people here incapable of answering for themselves? Or is Drey the designated stater of obvious answers?
I was wondering which one of these fools had his hand up Dae's back, him or Dustin. They both feel the need to answer for the Overweenie instead of letting him appear a man and answer himself. If I was him I'd slap both of you straight, but I don't know if Dae has stones or needs people to fight his battles for him.
A pathetic OL tourney delivered a pathetically weak OL reign. Taylara would be a vast improvement. Besides, she's far better looking.

Billy Boy,
You're a beautiful hypocrite.

I should say the same about you and Jonalyn, but you don't see me whining about it, do you?

Ok,
First of all. Say whatever you feel
Billy..that's your choice, I couldn't care less. That's my response to everything nowadays it seems..and that's how it's going to be I assume. See..the problem with all of you is, that a month ago..*not one* of you cared who I was..now everyone wants to open their mouth with their pitiful "opinions". Not that I'm really angry..I'm just indifferent as to whatever you all say in regards to my character, I know who I am. But to answer your question..I
was talking about Taylara's reasoning for challenging..she felt like she was the great monster-slayer of the Arena, by getting me away from the Title. Well, I decided to be that monster to amuse everyone. I believed we were on good terms, but then she opened up some flame-filled comments..her choice. I'm going to do what I need to do regardless..so don't worry about whether I have any "stones" or not..check out your own.
I don't need Drey or Dustin to say anything for me. Drey's been saying alot of things lately..if anyone has noticed.
>And I have a "FLAWLESS" record against the both of ya. This is gonna be fun.
>
Ok...where are you getting this information Drey? Possibly from the last couple of months. I've beaten you before, I believe..plus, I haven't dueled you in quite a *long* while..
Oh, everyone..Have a nice day.

Ok..let me clarify since some people are complaining. I'm going to revamp everything I've said about being Overlord in a few short points..Yay!
I've said I want to start this reign with restoration. Apparently, I've been getting a bit frustrated with some people and I haven't been able to start without starting some problems with some of the members of the Community. This is where the "indifference" comment came in. I wasn't saying that I was going to be impassive to everything. If you say something that I actually see as valid and needs to be explained, I'll explain it. As with Baron
Oakenshield's questions..I answered those because I felt they were valid and needed answers. If you start with insults about myself, chances are..it will invalidate your whole arguement.
For example..if you walked into the Arena and someone called you an idiot..then proceeded to idiot and insult your family..then started discussing the economics of various countries..would you listen to them? I know I wouldn't.
I don't know about myself not having any rocks or anything..whatever Billy said. If anyone does believe I'm a coward..that's cool..I'd encourage you to come test me out..give it a whirl.
This whole Overlord thing has been a wild ride. A learning experience too...Everything you do is under scrutiny. Maybe I've gone about this the wrong way so far..but that's part of the experience I suppose. I've also learned things about people that I thought I knew and thought were generally good people that have made me absolutely sick now. Maybe someone would say that about me..that's cool to. I'd probably explain it.
So..here's how it's going to go from now on. Anyone has any questions or anything to say, come out and say it..I'll answer it most likely. My anger has been off the charts lately, I suppose I'm starting to cool down so it would be fine to come talk to me. The first part of being understanding is understanding yourself..maybe I haven't done enough of that lately..
I'm going to enjoy myself for now while trying to actually accompish something worthwhile..if anyone doesn't want to let me do that..and wants to be negative about most everything, you know what you can do, I don't think it's proper to be explicit here.
