Ladies and Gentlemen of the Duel of Swords Community

Upon the fifteenth day of the sixth month, I was given the honor to witness the rescheduled match fought between Baron Drey D'erest Sanchez Starke and Warlord Magnus Eques. The challenge was to wear the thirteenth baronial ring of the Duel of Swords.

Warlord Magnus Eques dueled under the colors of Polaris - black with a red star in the middle. Evan Rush Rynth stood as his second, and using Drachen's Hatchet and Dual Blade, Magnus fought for the honor of his mother, whom he believes still watches over him.
Baron Drey Starke dueled with his blade and his nine iron. No other particulars were given.

The match began being very close within the two duelists, where Drey would return a score shortly after Magnus took the lead. Once Magnus had two points, however, Drey held him down to that until the very end of the duel, where the match ended with traded cuts. Drey was quite offensive minded during the match, being on the offense 60% of the time during the first half of the match, and 80% of the time during the second half. Magnus, however,
was frequently using defensive maneuvers and always preparing himself to counter, of which only the first counter worked. In the end, Drey defeated Magnus 5.5-3 in 10 rounds.
It was a great match, and I congratulate both Drey and Magnus for their skill displayed in the ring.

Sworn in by,
Var Medici-Giovanni

Yeah, bringing out my nine iron at the end of the match was better than that frickin' Dual Blade, whatever the hell it is. I wacked him square in the head. He's gonna feel that one in the mornin'.

Well now. Who's next to step in line and take their toll? Didn't look like Jesse got much of an offer. So far, it looks like the Overlord.

But, hell, good match, Magnus. Ya put up a nice fight in the beginning, but ain't nothing gonna keep me down.

Whaddya think of my Dual Blade?

Is it a common practice now when you win a duel to start talking madness?

Anyway, I still think you're a crock about me never beating you Drey. Either that or I've only dueled you once or twice. But hey..look at the bright side, if the Warlady gets as lucky as you did..then you can make her cry about challenging her because you know you can beat her, and she's a bad duelist, right?

Anyway..Don't Sing it, Bring it...and if you're not with it, then you can split it..yadda yadda yadda.

Oh..Have a Nice Day.

I don't know, that sounded like an invitation to me, Drey.

That's right, just call me "the duck."

It was an invitation... But hell, it was all ready planned... No big difference to me.

Simple enough, its a sword, you have one too. Hope that clears up any confusion, but I can see how you would be dumbfounded.
