The following is a notice of a bounty for those who would chase down
such bloody rewards:

Ten thousand gold crowns is presently offered for the head of
Zen Rising

Dead or Alive. If Alive, bounty hunters are to bring Mr. Rising to the contractor of this bounty in chains, or some other sort of heavy restraints,
reasonably undamaged, so that the contractor may inflict gruesome punishment upon the target. If Dead, the contractor will require proof of irrevocable cassation of life in the form of Mr. Rising's severed head.

All interested parties are to contact Anubis Karos

The Egyptian calmly strolled away from the cork, a small smile on his face serving as a mask for the sharp, burning pain from the previous night's injuries. But also, a sign of self-satisfaction at the wheels he had just set in motion.

This is hilarious.

Hey, Zen, I'll get you a free mug of ale if you take out the guy who put this on you.

::after reading the note, tries, but miserably fails, to hold in a roaring laugh::

::he then tacks up the following::

This is too much. Anubis goes around all day beating up women. And when a man finally fights him, he has to try to hire others to do his bidding. I wonder if he's just cowardly or if he knows he's too weak to take me himself.

Anyway, if any of you actually think the money's worth such a huge risk to your life, you know where I can be found.

Hey Zen, if you let me kill you, how about you and I share the earnings 50/50?

Zen...

I believe he's still recovering from the damage you and I did to him last night. Don't hope for too much out of the poor godling now...

I think I'll just show up at his doorstep tomorrow and ask for the money.

You people laugh now.. and Zen is a skilled swordsman.. but it doesn't matter how skilled you are when you're in bed asleep. Watch your back Zen, and I'll keep an eye on it for you ask well.

I think a grand total of three other people know where I live.

Just in case, I'll start keeping an armed guard at hand at the house.

Oh, and I'm not just a skilled swordsman. I have plenty of guns, too.

Anubis,

Watch your back. If there is no one to pay the reward money, interest will dry up very quickly. I suggest you keep that in mind. There are more than a few people who would far rather take your life than Zen's. In fact, I am sure there are people who would take your life for free.

To the Community,

Folks, howabout we play a game of turnabout? I hereby place a price of 75,000 louis on the head of Anubis Karros. I had plenty of reason to dislike him before this, but this certainly doesn't make me like him any more. Oh, and what the heck, the 75,000 louis are for his head attached to his body. If you just bring me the head, I'll probably double it.

Two things, Percival:

First. His last name is Karos. One "r". Despite how unlikely it is that there would be a mistake, wouldn't want it to happen.

Second. In comparison to the common currency here, how much is a louis worth?

Well, it is about equal with a gold crown. Maybe a little more since it is a little heavier and purer.

You want Anbuis' head, and I will give it to you. One question; Would you like it pre-stuffed and mounted or not?

Clone reads the missives on the boards wondering at the willingness to kill or be killed for little more then coin. Then sighs heavily knowing the works of mankind are not for him to understand, just study and resource them where he can.
