To all interested parties:
Upon reading the Standings placed for notice the announcement of the Overlord Challenge date and time is found ta be in error. There will be no challenge on Monday, June 19th at the hour of 7PM by the eastern sun. I regret that my daily duties donnae cease until the hour of 6PM by the mountainous skies.
When the day and time 'ave been decided upon by the Overlord and myself proper notice shall be given ta all. I apologize for any misunderstandings.

Madame Silvertree,

Perchance thee hae taken it upon yuirself to announce the particulars of a challenge in the official lists without first ascertaining that said particulars hae been agreed upon by both the challenger and the challenged? One must ponder where thee got the information. One must further ponder if thee again be meddling in the matter, a matter which ist certes nae within yuir purview.

Tis for the challenger and the challenged to come to agreement upon the date, the hour and the location of the match, ast well ast to come to agreement 'pon the one chosen to officiate.

One must further ponder if Daelin Dragonsblade wast the one what didst apprise thee and if'n so, hae he e'en bothered to ascertain that his challenger hae accepted and confirmed the date and time which thee, Madame Silvertree, didst scribe in the official lists.

Jonalyn,

Since you feel you must know. I'll answer your question.

Yes, I was the one who picked the date and time. Point.

I offered this date and time to both the Warlady and the official I had asked to officiate the match. Point.

Both said they couldn't make this time. Point.

We are currently diliberating on another time for the match to take place. Point.

Have a nice day.

Daelin Dragonsblade,

If indeed both the challenger and the official apprised thee that the time couldst nae be met, then pray tell why wouldst Madame Silvertree hae published the information ast if the time and date hae in fact been agreed upon? It wouldst seem whilst making yuir "Points" thee overlooked the original query.

Overlooked? Maybe. I was just answering the question you asked. You were wondering if I gave the date and time, and if the challenger and I had confirmed it. I answered these questions as best I could.

As for why Madame Silvertree wrote that the challenge would be then, I have no idea why she did that. However, I am not her and I will not try to rationalize why she did that. I just presented the facts that I was aware of.

Have a nice day.

Simply put.

There was no reply from the Warlady at the time the Standings were posted.
Given the absence of a reply, and the wording of the letter sent to the Office of the Standings Keeper by the Overlord, the date given by him upon that letter was the date listed upon the Standings.

Madame Silvertree,

If'n thee hae nae confirmation from both challenged an' challenger, prithee, whyfore place such in the official lists at all?

During my challenge to Baron Turidan, I discovered that the time I had suggested to the Baron had been announced on the standings before I had received the Baron's OK.

Objectively,

Deluthan,

I do thank thee for that information. It wouldst seem that Madame Silvertree hast nae yet grasped the simple concept of permitting the challenger and the challenged to come to agreement afore making such pronouncements in the official lists.

Starfare.

If you believe you can do a better job of it, I am certain that Valentine will hire you as a member of the staff... and once he does, I will gladly turn the job over to you.
