Lords and Ladies of the Duel of Swords,
This 16th of July upon the hour of seven in the evenin by the eastern clock, twas my honor ta call the Challenge Match between Baron of the Second, Cletus Ganderfald, and Warlady Ariadne Angeles.
The Baron dueled under the banner of Polaris, fer the honor of his wife Arane. At his side stood his brother Magnus Eques as Second.
The Warlady dueled fer House Miyamoto and fer the honor of Kaji Mitsuhiro. Second fer the Warlady was Overlady Taylara Tyree.
After seven bloody rounds, Ariadne Angeles was victorious by a score of 5 - 1. The new Baroness declared herself Loyal ta the Overlady.

She did do well tonight. A 5-1 score is nearly always impressive, though less so when against a recuperating opponent, and a win is always good.

I hope certain people within the titled ranks all are involved in a mass suicide, that way no one can pin their murders on us. Someone should hurry up and take this broad out, again.

Your complaints about the lady and ladies in general are so tedious. Surely you have more to do with your time then insult someone who won, but given your fondness for belicose remarks perhaps not.
One has to wonder why you feel so threatened by the accomplishments of the women of our world. Are you not just a tad jealous? Perhaps apprehensive that the figure chasing you in the standings is female?
Personally, I feel that may the best person win, but neither of you have that solidness of character that allows you to congratulate a duelist on a win. A bit of a pity is it not?

First, when I say "ignorant", I do not mean it in an insulting tone, I mean it because I know you have not been around nearly long enough to know why I don't want certain people holding titles.
I have had numerous dealings with the new holder of the second ring, and I have no problem saying that she should not have a title in her hands.
It's not jealousy, as I have held four titles in my career. Of course, you would know that if you researched the history. Also, it's not her chasing me in the standings, as I currently am not in the standings to be chased.
Fact is, There are certain title holders who don't deserve to hold titles. Just because two are female does not mean anything. I have, repeatedly, said the same things about several male holders of titles. I'm not jealous of anyone. I've no reason to be.

I congratulate a duelist on a win when I feel it is a win they deserved. In no way has the duelist shown me that she deserves to win. Winning one match means nothing, as anyone can get lucky on any given day, regardless of score. And the opponent having been injured beforehand is also a factor.
What the pity is, is that you are coming off so high and mighty, saying you think it's jealousy or a lack of strength in character for me to have the reactions I have, without knowing anything about the title holders.
You would do well to not take things at face value. A saying I am fond of, is all that glitters is not gold. In this case, we have several title holders, male and female, with all the qualities of lead.
Learn before you speak, son. Perhaps then you'll understand.

Simply put...
I can think of at least a dozen female title holders in the past that both Daelin and G have a great deal of respect for.
While I can't speak for Daelin, I have known G for nearly the entire length of both of our dueling carreers... He does not judge people on anything but their individual actions, much the way I do.
If he didn't, he never would've become friends with those drow women.

I was not around to watch the specific match aforementioned, and I do not judge whether or not the victor did indeed deserve to win, but I believe that G should not be criticized for not wanting someone to win . . . he always has his reasons, and though they be not yours, you would still do good to remember a phrase spoken once by a man named Voltaire: "I may not agree with a word you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it."
