Regarding the Results of the Warlord's Tourney

To those it may concern, but most especially the Lord Daegarth Mithmellon of House Phoenix,
First of all, I wish to say that I am tremendously heartened to see a first place winner of a Warlord's Tourney choose the prize that was originally intended for the first place winner. It says very much of Lord Mithmellon's honour and his sportsmanship that he chose said prize. I hope very much that he renders the challenge he has earned to the Overlord and that he succeeds in its execution. It is my opinion that he would not only be a vast
improvement, but that he would also be a fine Overlord in his own right. I would support his challenge to just about anyone in the sport, with only a handful of exceptions. Therefore, though he has not to my knowledge yet pressed his challenge, I wish him the heartiest skill and fortune when he faces the Overlord.
Second of all, I wish to comment on the other results of the Tourney. I am pleased with the General's return to the ranks of the Barons, as he seems to be a man of good comportment and careful words. I am somewhat concerned, however, by Var's return to the position of keeper of the 10th ring. He seems to have some quite proprietary feelings about said ring, and his seemingly constant possession or pursuit of it is somewhat disturbing. He is a fine
bladesman, but I hope that he at least receives a few challenges this time. His wait the last time was really too long. As for Karen Wilder's claiming of the 4th ring, I wish to congratulate her. I do not yet know her well enough to have formed an opinion of her character, but she seems quite skilled. Still, I would be very interested to know the basis of her decision to choose to stand Loyal to the Overlord if she was willing to speak of it.
Finally, I wish to offer general congratulations to all those who won a prize in the Tourney!

Congratulations to the four winners of the Warlord's Tournament. While there is at least one result that displeases me, all in all, it was a fine display of skill, especially on the part of Leo de Lorenzo, who has proven himself to be quite a force in the format of the Warlord's Tournament. Special congatulations also go out to Daegarth Mithmellon. I have always respected your pride and your skill in the ring, Shadowlord, even though I have not
always seen eye to eye with you.

A right fine display by all. Each and every one of the contestants deserve all they have achevied and all they someday will. The tourney was conducted with the best of intentions and honor by all.
To the winners go the greatest of all these well wishings, as theirs was the honor of skill as well as conduct.
Fare ye well in the rings.

::Placed upon the cork in plain view for all to see... the writing done in an almost caligraphy style.::
To the Community of the Duel of Swords.
I write this letter on bequest of the Lady Wilder. She has been questioned on her motives for declaring Loyal to the current Overlord and wishes to make her thoughts clear on the subject.
The Lady Wilder is under commission by the Cardinal of our Order to do everything in her power to see to certain things. The Lady Wilder believes that the best way to do this is by standing as a Loyal Baron at this time. She holds no ill-will towards the Overlord and so sees no reason to align herself as a Renegade.
The Lady Wilder further wishes to make it clear that her first loyalty is to the Order of the Knights Templar.

As a mere spectator, I found the tourney wondrously thrilling. Congratulations to all! 'Twas a grand experience and made rightfully so, by three individuals...my gratitude to Altara, Stormi and Nych. I can only imagine your task a great labour, yet the endeavor appeared smooth and effortless. The nights shone more brilliant for your presence.
