Duely Noted, Volume 2, Issue 5

Kicking back at his desk, feet propped up and coffee in hand, the newly promoted editor-in-chief looked over the latest issue of Duely Noted and hummed to himself. He was exhausted. They hadn't thought they would make deadline. It had been a close thing. Seamus had railed for hours. Guy didn't know what gave him a worse headache, Seamus railing or having to work all night to
get things ready for the printers.
In any case it was good to be able to sit back and know the issue was finally out. He sipped at his coffee, which had long since gotten cold. He considered munching on a another donut, but he'd really had enough sugar for one day and besides they were getting a bit stale.
His muscles ached from the strain of typing for so many hours. He really needed to get out and get some exercise, but he figured that he could do that in a few minutes after he'd perused the interview about Helix stepping down. Now that there was actually time to read it...
