Harris tugged at his trenchcoat as he stepped out of the Outback after a horrible night of dueling. He decided it was best to head home and rest up for Friday night. Heading down the path out of town and into the forest he spotted Bane, who seemed to be in some kind of hurry. Under closer inspection he saw several makeshift stakes attached to Bane's belt. Around his neck he wore a small cross and a necklace made of Garlic. All thenecessary tools for vampire hunting."Damn crazed fool." Harris mumbled under his breath. His mind immediately flashed back to that night when Bane came rushing into the Outback yammering about being attacked by vampires in some tavern across town. He and Deuce tried to sway Bane from going back alone but he didn't listen. Now there was only one thing for Harris to do and that was to follow Bane to the tavern and help out in any way he could.Harris grabbed a few stray sticks that were scattered on the ground and headed after Bane. Trudging through a less than elegant part of town Bane stopped a few times and looked cautiously around making sure nobody was following him. Harris stepped into an alley or a doorway to avoid detection. Finally, after travelling halfway across town Bane stopped and looked up at the sign on a small, two story tavern. A wide grin crossed Bane's face as he took aconfident step inside...

Bane stepped in the tavern relatively unnoticed but the stench of garlic finally turned some heads to the door. Sneers crossed many of the vampires faces, many of them knowing Bane from nights past. A tall, well built vamp with long black hair stood up looking Bane over."So, you had the nerve to come back didja?" The vamp snapped the question at Bane."I wasn't the one that got beaten to a pulp." A grin crossed Bane's face after he said that. The vampire hissed sharply at Bane who dropped into his ready stance, snatching a few stakes from his belt. Several of the vampires advanced on Bane but he quickly dropped two of them with the stakes in his hands. They vanished without a trace. Before Bane could react he was grabbed from behind. But with his training in DoF he easily tossed the vamp aside and into a table."Who's next?" Bane shouted, not one drop of sweat on his forehead. The big man looked around to see the remaining vampires surround him, hissing violently. Suddenly the front door crashed open and Harris charged in knocking several off the vampires back and onto the floor."The calvary has arrived!" A wide grin crossed Harris's face as he glanced over to Bane."I told you I could handle this myself!!" Bane snapped at Harris, but before Harris could reply he was tackled from behind and two sharp fangs were buried deep into his neck. He shouted more in horror than in pain and smashed his fist into the vampire's face sending him reeling backwards. Bane took a glimpse over at Harris but before he could make a move a large chair was smashed over his head and back. Spinning around to face his attacker Banejabbed a stake clear through the vamp's body, making him disappear in a plume of smoke. Several of the vampires advanced on Harris but even in his condition he managed to send them back to where they came from with a few stakes to the heart. The numbers of the vampires suddenly grew to an enormous amount, and with Harris flashing in and out of conciousness he was easily overtaken and a sharp kick to the belly sent him reeling back and out of the bar. The vampire took a close inspection of Harris, and, seeing that he had already been bitten, made his way back into the bar and to the raging battle inside. Realizing he couldn't do anything more to help Bane he crawled several blocks acrosstown to try and get help from the only person he knew who could help. Making that final lunge to the doorstep he weakly rapped on the door of Andrew Forcer's place of residence...

Harris slowly opened his eyes to see a small elf standing over him. It was none other than his best friend Andrew Forcer. Andrew slowly steeped to the side letting the sun pour into the room and directly onto Harris. Harris hissed, showing his fangs and covering his eyes from the light. Andrew promptly pulled the shades down and the room grew dark. The room grew silent, both of the men not knowing exactly what to say."Bane! I left him back at the tavern!!" Harris spouted out more to himself than to Andrew."You were muttering something about Bane ever since I found you at my doorstep last week..." Andrew replied looking down at Harris."Last week!!! What day is it!?!" Harris shouted out as one foot moved from off of the bed and onto the floor."It's Monday...you've been unconcious for about three days..." Andrew cocked his head looking down at Harris's neck seeing that the two punctures had healed totally."Damn...Bane...I've gotta go back to the tavern!!" Harris hopped out of the bed and snatched up a few of his belongings. Andrew knew how futile it would be to try and stop Harris so, he reached into his pocket and grabbed a pair of dark shades and handed them to Harris."These shades are pretty thick and should keep the sun out of your eyes. Well, at least most of it. And you'll need these..." Andrew handed Harris a pair of what looked like false teeth."Place them over you fangs and nobody will be able to see them...vampire hunters are everywhere just looking for somebody to murder." More worried about Bane than about handling his vampiric half he trudged out the door placing the fake teeth over his fangs with Andrew following behind him...
