To All Concerned Parties of the Community,
Let it be known that on the 23rd day of the month of September the Warlord Johnathan Ecorian Havoick did press his challenge for right to hold the Seventh Baron Ring against the current Baron Dustin Manjahcapery. The Baron Manjahcapery did call for the matter to be settled with a Best of Three style match.
Neither Warlord, nor Baron dueled with a Second or a Lady of Honor. The Warlord dueled without specific color or banner, the Baron dueled in his colors of Yellow and Black and beneath the banner depicting the flag of the United States.
The matches proceeded as follows.
First Match:
In the First Round, the Warlord took the opening lead when he stepped around the Baron's cautious parry round. (Fss/Fcp) 1-0 Cory.
In the Second Round the Baron and the Warlord traded cuts. The Baron attacking high while the Warlord attacked low. (Hc/Lc) 2-1 Cory.
In the Third round, both Baron and Warlord went back to the cautious game as the Baron stepped aside and the Warlord took up a midline block position. (Fss/Sh)
2-1 Cory.
The Fourth Round saw still more caution from both men as the Baron took up the midline defense against the Warlord's skillful parry round. (Sh/Fcp) 2-1 Cory.
In the Fifth Round the Baron moved forward with an aggressive lunge but the Warlord quickly stepped aside of the attack, maintaining his lead. (Fss/Th) 3-1 Cory.
The Sixth Round saw the two men trading cuts once again. The Baron low the Warlord high. (Hc/Lc) 4-2 Cory.
In the Seventh round, the Baron narrowed the gap a little when his high cut caught the sidestepping Warlord for the point. (Hc/Fss) 4-3 Cory.
The Eighth round was a cautious one for both men as the Warlord took up the midline defense and the Baron stepped around it. (Sh/Fss) 4-3 Cory.
In the Ninth round the Baron's quick parry round turned aside the Warlord's low attack for the match tieing point. (Lc/Fcp) Tied at 4.
The Tenth round saw a winner as the Warlord thrust above the Baron's low attack to take the match. (Lc/Th)
The First Match was won by the Warlord in 10 rounds with a score of 5-4.
The men did not stop to pause in the action, seeking to continue on to the Second match.
Second Match:
In the First Round the Warlord took the lead as his lunge tagged the Baron before Manjapcapery could bring his high cut to bear. (Hc/Th) 1-0 Cory.
The Second Round saw the Warlord extending his lead as he parried away the Baron's low attack for the point. (Lc/Fcp) 2-0 Cory.
In the Third Round the Baron completed the triple cut with positive results as his high cut caught the sidestepping Warlord. (Fss/Hc) 2-1 Cory.
Continuing on the aggressive in the Fourth Round, the Baron lunged in seeking another point but the Warlord was cagey and caught the attack with a quick midline block, sending it back against the Baron for the point. (Th/Sh) 3-1 Cory.
In the Fifth Round both men clashed on high. (Hc/Hc) 3-1 Cory.
The Sixth round saw the Baron stepping to the side but getting caught up on the Warlord's low attack. (Fss/Lc) 4-1 Cory.
In the Seventh Round the Baron closed the gap as he skillfully caught the Warlord's lunge on a midline block. (Th/Sh) 4-2 Cory.
In the Eighth round the Baron continued on his come back as he struck high and above the Warlord's low block. (Hc/Fcp) 4-3 Cory.
But in the Ninth round the match was decided as once again the Warlord lunges across the Baron's low attack, taking the point and the win. (Th/Lc).
And so, the Second Match was won by the Warlord 5-3 in 9 rounds.
Johnathan Ecorian Havoick did defeat Dustin Manjapcapery in the first two matches of the Best of Three format to claim the Seventh Baron's ring for his own.
The New Baron Havoick did declare himself Renegade to the Overlord Daegarth Mithmellon.
Congratulations to the new Baron of the Seventh.

And Dustin gets butchered. Poor guy. Now I got more material to make fun of him with!
Nice win, Cory.
