That is why one should stop and watch the autumn foliage and appreciate the cycle of life in our own lives.

Warlord of Swords

Humanity is a virus, I just happen to be a feral strand in this very sick world.

Brushing a stray silken strand from her face, her guarded eyes showed tiny wrinkles at their edges. Her heart no longer ached as she marveled at the foolishness of some. She knew well the ravages of torture, the searing loss of a child, true love and the treachery of a trusted soul. And she knew the heinous consequences of survival, all seemingly trivial matters, compared
to another. The shrill scrape of a chair on the wooden floor behind her served to pull her out of her concentration, and she fluidly added one line to the bottom of the parchment.

Freakin' poetic, soft-hearted, limp wristed tree huggers!

Hang a man by his arms and legs so he has no freedom of movement, slowly peel the skin from his body and sterilize the bare skin with witch hazel to prevent infection. you then sew his lips and eyelids shut and leave him there until he is almost dead of starvation. Then you suspend him above a cauldron of tar or motor oil heated to 250 degrees. not enough to kill quickly mind you.

You then release him from his chains and break his color bones, hobble him and crush his pelvis. You then place him in the pot and let him slow cook like a lobster.

Or the death of innocence...yea, that too.

The worst way to die would be alone, slowly, knowing that no one would ever know when, or how, or why you died. Or even that you did. Leaving no mark, leaving no memory that you were ever alive, in complete anonymity.

<Ponders>

That, or dying when you're utterly out of gum.
