Ladies and Gentlemen
On the 5th day of the 11th month and at about the hour or 9:00 pm, I did officiate a match between the Baron of the Tenth, Var Medici-Giovanni and Cassius Gaius Maximius
for the right to bear that ring.
There was a dandy turnout for the event and the the particulars were as follows.
The Baron dueled under the colors of the Medici-Giovanni family.
Metallic Silver Swords colliding over a field of ocean blue.
His lovely wife, Noelle Medici-Giovanni was present as his lady of Honor
He was seconded by his son, Noble Morgan Medici-Giovanni. As always, he dueled with his saber, Fallen Crew.
The Warlord dueled under a the banner of the Roman Empire, a
double-headed eagle clutching two bundles of arrows in
it's talons, surrounded by a half-circle of olive wreath.
The Latin letters "S P Q R" inscribed in gold below.
His second, though absent, was most likely there in spirit, the thrice Baron, Ian Ryan MacKenzie.
His Lady of Honor was the his lovely wife Laylla Hellstrom Maximius.
His weapon was the gladius Imperator .
The Warlord pressed his challenge and the Baron accepted. The duel was a single match format and broke down as follows
The Baron The Warlord
1) High Cut Fancy Circ Parry
2) Low Cut Thrust
3) Thrust Low Cut
4) Duck Fancy Duck
5) Sidestep High Cut
6) Low Cut Fancy Lat Parry
7) High Cut Fancy Duck
8) Fancy Circ Parry Disengage
9) Low Cut Circ Parry
10) Fancy Duck Thrust
11) High Cut Lat Parry
11 rounds and the Warlord bests the Baron 5-3
The ring passed, his alignment was loyal.

I would like to thank Nych for his officiating, and am simply stating I'm not challenging the baron in return. I have my reasons, but choose not to discuss them.
