Red Opal Challenge!

This past Sunday, Avery Shiv Blade and Andrew Forcer battled it out in one of the closer Opal challenges that we've had in the Outback.

Match 1- Avery drops a fist on Andy's head to start things off, but after that, all the momentum went to the challenger. He rattled off three unanswered points, and when Avery hit back, that spurred Andrew on to nail down them last two quick. Final: Andrew def. Avery, 5-2 in 10 rounds.

Match 2- Again, Avery starts with the first point, but this one stayed mad close the whole way through. Andrew took the lead again at 2-1 and 3-2, but this time the Opal holder managed to grab a couple more points and take a 4-3 lead. A little duckin and dodgin kept the fight going for a few more rounds, but once they broke their legs on each other, Avery walked off with a win. Final: Avery def. Andrew, 5-4 in 9 rounds.

Match 3- For the third straight time, the champ takes the early lead. Just like the last fight, this one's close, even closer. Andrew keeps the pattern alive by taking another 2-1 lead, but it winds up 2-2 and 3-3 before Avery can grab the next point. Andrew works his way into position, but spins away instead of taking advantage of the opening Avery gives him, costing himself the tying point. Right after that, Avery took the last point of the
match. Final: Avery def. Andrew, 5-3 in 11 rounds.

Avery Shiv Blade takes out Andrew Forcer, two matches to one, and retains the Firestar Opal.

Avery,

I 'ave been late on giving you a congradulations on yer match the other night. I also send a large apology to everyone, most specifically Avery and Deuce fer not being able ta show up the first time. Also, I wanted to say that on that night, Avery did a fine job of dueling and a do 'ope 'e'll continue ta 'old the ring while 'e duels in the Outback.
