Sneggle,

You are obviously not illiterate, you have proven this by your prolific responses and inane commentary. So why is it that you refuse to accept that we know that you must know the word YOU and its uses?

Do you believe all others to be naive enough to fall for the ruse?

Has illiteracy become vogue?

Is Anfer your partner in this fashion crime? As he must know that the word "ye" is indeed a subsitute for "you"... in the plural. Is he implying that G'nort is a nation unto himself? Much as I think G'nort has grown a bit soft in his old age, I do not believe that automatically constitutes the right to name him more than one... unless, of course, you mean to state that he has some mental issues.

As a final sidenote, the word "nae" does not exist. I believe you are trying to use the word "nay", but that may just be another part of the act.

Drop the facade, you are not fooling anyone.

"Cas,

Yer on and yer know where to find me. Nope, not Warlord yet, but tis a
matter of time, thank yer fer askin.

Sgt Sneggle"

You're on Lorance.

A word to the wise; attempting to flaunt the "the sword handles all" philosophy when one's rival is a considerably more skilled warrior than you are(like myself and Gnort) is a most flawed strategy indeed.

I'm not sure whether to find it depressing or outrageously hilarious that Cas could possibly be a "considerably more skilled warrior" than anybody. This statement was clearly either an obvious attempt at humor or a sign that the apocalypse is dreadfully near.

>Would you rather have more people like Lorance? Disrespectable, idiotic,
>moronic losers who come around and make the arena their home, or people like
>me, who, before my bitter turning, was one of the most well respected people
>in the arena in the "Glory it once had" And if you find *Anyone* who was a
>part of that
>Glory, I am sure they will agree that I was one of the most well respected.
>Hell, probably even Lupton would agree to that.

Well, why can we no' hae both? Lorance, I am no' ashamed tae say, is one o' me best friends in the Arena. He's always in good spirits an' he's always willing tae fight fer wha' he believes in. 'Ell, 'e's always willin' tae fight, period. An' ye, G. Ye are someone I respect tremendously, both fer wha' ye've done fer this sport in the past an' wha' ye continue tae do now, even if meself an' the rest o' us here canna comprehend it. I'd even go so
far as tae say yer a legend here, G. Well, tha's about it. Can't we all jus' gie along?

Cas and G'nort are skilled?

G'nort's a legend?

I need to duel again. That's just a cry for help.

::he grins slightly reading through the nicely grown stack::

I should have known Ellisa would correct them...heh, I doubt they'll listen..they'd probably do well to though.

::penning his note::

Anfer,

I'm sure even you can see the truth
in G'nort and Cassius' words. The Duel of Swords is in a state of depression. The only people who show up now are smart-mouth and people who duel more than a Ogre hopped up on No-Doze. I see no liveliness when I step in the Arena..true, I haven't been there in quite some time, I've dueled this week..but prior to that I don't even remember raising a blade in the rings of the Arena. The same long faces, the same people jumping in and out of rings is
what I see.

It could get better, mind you. I'm not
disputing that. I just haven't seen it do so yet. I have to slightly agree with G though, in the "Glory" days..he was known...maybe not as much as he would have liked to been, but yes he was a top name. (Yes, this is a joke at G'nort's expense).

As for the other trivial little arguments,
that's no way to go back to the way things were. Why would you even go back? Move forward. However, when people are bickering like small children instead of attempting to build this place back up..you'll stay in the same spot. Granted, I may have been one of these people not too long ago, but taking a step back, any civil person would see that.

Daelin,

Reading what yer have said il like listenin to one of the Councilors of Rovak at lection time. Yer left knowing they might be for this or that, but yer never sure exactly what they really mean.

The DoS was in a bad way. Fer a time there were just a handful of people attending. I was one of them as was Anfer, yer were there also, and we stuck to the course. Now the DoS is buildin back up. A lot of them what said they were never comin back have come back and some of the old officials are comin back I here.

So, the DoS is alive. The problem is that yer and yer ilk dont seem to care for the life it has anymore and look down yer pointy noses at them what fought in the trenches.

Thats too bad fer yer. But the DoS is not going to be the same as it was. New peoples, new fighters, new ways. Yer need to see the way the wind blows and align with it or fight it, but if yer try and ride it out yer will be left high and dry.

Sneggy isn't responding to me anymore. Oh well. IQ's are rising again.

Ah now Ellisa me dear lady,

One's affectations for the pronounciation of ye is not an universal sign of stupidity, at least I would hope ye would not brand me with that. As for Gnort, we all know 'is ego is large enough for a country of its own, I will give ye that, but please do not sling ye're accusations broadly over the whole populace. For though I know ye mind rivals ye wild beauty in prominence in Rhydin, still if I was that lackwitted I would just stand around and
drool over ye, instead of listen to ye with an open mind. Though I must say that prospect is interesting in itself.

Simply,

Mathias
