Baron of the First, Daelin Dragonsblade,
It is time for a bit of deja vu. Was in my first term as a Baron you did come at me in hope of removing me from my position as Baron of the First.
Tis time for me to offer you the same kindness.
I shall send unto you the list of peers I have had the honor to duel as well as defeat within the rings of the Arena. I shall send them likewise to your fellow Barons and the Overlord along with a list for verification to the standings keeper as is required by our rules.
I look forward to a grand competition upon your accceptance and the verifications.
Sincerely
Seamus Mac Donnaugh
Warlord
::tacking the note to the top of the stack, he swaggers off for a drink to the occasion:::
A little excitement??

I think I'll be betting for Daelin on this one...don't ask, just a hunch.

Well, this is an interesting situation for me. I have an eminent respect and affection for both of the duelists involved. I am, of course, closer to Daelin than Seamus. We are sworn brothers and were of the same now dead House. At the same time, however, I have never felt any sort of feeling for Seamus other than respect and friendship.
That said:
Seamus,
Good luck. Should you prove victorious I am sure that you will prove a worthy Baron. You are a man who deserves a ring and I will not deny that fact. However, you will understand if I wish the victory to go to my sworn brother.
Daelin,
My brother, good luck and duel well. While I do not believe that your challenger would disgrace the ring that you now wear, I do believe that you deserve to go on wearing it as well. Therefore I wish you a fine victory and hope that both you and your opponent make an excellent show of the challenge for the patrons that yet remain.
